Description
The air-conditioned holiday home is spread over three levels and can accommodate six people.
On the ground floor are the living room (exit to the pool), the dining room, the kitchen and the bathroom. The living area has a fireplace, comfortable seating and a TV with satellite channels.
A wooden staircase leads to the upper two loft-style floors, which are very open plan because the bedrooms are not separated by doors. On the first level there is one double bed with oneand wardrobe (and door to a small terrace). On top level there is another double bed and in the attic another double bed .
In addition, a baby cot and a high chair can be provided.
The adjoining dining area has a dining table with chairs and a sofa bed.
The kitchen is very small in comparison to the rest of the house and is equipped with a 2-plate stove, mini oven, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and coffee maker.
The bathroom consists of a shower, sink, toilet and a washing machine.
The outdoor deck features an awning, a stone bench and a dining table with chairs and a BBQ.
The pool is shared by 1 annexed house (it has its own independant )

The property is located in the small, traditional village of Douliana on the north coast of Crete. The place was awarded the NATURA title as a national nature reserve.

We, as a couple and our four grownup children rented both of the adjoining properties, to celebrate some family birthdays. We had a really wonderful week in Kostoulas house. We were welcomed by Kostoula and her daughter, even though it was very late after flight delays. The house was very clean, well equipped and the swimming pool and outside spaces are lovely. The house was cleaned during our stay and we had fresh bed linen. It is quite open plan, as explained in the details. It wasn't a problem as the sleeping areas are on different levels and it means the air con gets all around. The small village is very pretty and we tried two of the tavernas, both were very good. It is possible to walk down to the beach and it is a lovely walk but probably best done early in the morning before it gets too hot. We do recommend hiring a car to explore this wonderful unspoilt part of Crete, but if you didn't want to, the taxi services are very good. Kostoula was an excellent host and got back to us very promptly when we had a couple of questions during our stay.

Splendid 5 out of 5 A very pleasant stay in a typical Cretan village.
The terrace, the pool and the surroundings are fantastic, we had a lovely holiday. The beaches are 10 minutes away by car. The house is large and comfortable. A small kitchen, good air conditioning rating was submitted:
