Description

A cosily furnished holiday home in the countryside is available for 2-4 people. The separate two-storey house on the outskirts of Berlin has a small bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet on the lower level, as well as a kitchen and a large living room with an unobstructed view of the paddocks and wetlands in front. A staircase leads from the hallway to the upper area, where there is a bedroom with a double bed and a guest room with two single beds.
The terrace around the house invites you to sunbathe or barbecue.
Animal lovers can observe the free-living deer, foxes, nutria and herons. Those who spend their holidays here must reckon with the morning cock crowing and the occasional call of a peacock, because right next door is the small private petting zoo belonging to it.
The property is not suitable for small children or wheelchair users.
Workers can also spend their free time here.
The house is a non-smoking property. Of course, ashtrays are available in the outdoor area. Parties are not permitted!

Location and surroundings of object

The accommodation situated breeze which flows through the property directly behind the House far away from the town centre between a wet meadow downtown behind forest and the river. Left next to the House there is a large pond with a fountain. On the right side, an arm of the breeze on which various ornamental waterfowl Frolic borders. Birkenwerder has a train station and has direct highway access to the Berliner ring.
In the village and the neighbouring villages, there are shopping, cafes and various dining and ranches. The Sweetbreads Valley from the village centre with its nature trails invites hiking. Sweetbreads Lake there is a bathing spot.

The "Berlin/Koppenhagen" cycle path runs directly behind the wet meadow. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the small bathing area on the Havel. In addition, there is a water ski facility in the nearby Bernsteinsee and a large golf course in the village of Stolpe. The Germendorf Animal/Dinosaur and Adventure Park with its wide range of leisure and bathing facilities or the Turm Adventure Centre in Oranienburg are also in the immediate vicinity. If you want to explore Berlin by car, it only takes 30 minutes to get to the city centre, or you can park at the Birkenwerder S-Bahn station and take the train to the centre.

Pure idyll..

We, three seniors with a dog, felt really comfortable in this holiday home. The location is unique, the furnishings are good. Only the steep stairs posed problems for our old bones. Mrs. Kleindienst is a very friendly host. Always present for all our questions. The grounds, with the numerous animals, are a true paradise.

Sweet holiday home

Cozy, ideal for relaxing, friendly hosts, unfortunately no air conditioning in the bedroom, everything necessary can be obtained in the village and the surrounding area. We (2 adults, 1 child, 1 dog) would come back.

A house with charm with a charming landlady.

Four of us lived in the house with a two-year-old child. The size and furnishings were completely adequate. Very well situated, especially for children. Well-kept lawns around the house invite to play. Adjacent to the house, the landlady keeps a large number of small animals, some of which are rare ducks and geese. All in all, a place to relax or to go on various excursions.
We have certainly not been there the last time.
Best time: during the hay harvest ;)

Inspiring !

We (family, 2 children) were delighted with the house and the beautiful
beautiful surroundings (garden, pond, small zoo)
completely enthusiastic. Everything was neat and clean, the size
The size was sufficient for 4 people and the landlady (incl. neighbours) was very nice.
The neighbours were very nice. Thanks to the S-Bahn station, many excursions can be planned without a car (which saves a lot of stress in Berlin). Insider tip: the dino and amusement park Germendorf (less than 10km), where a day passes like nothing and the prices are very moderate

Entspannung pur

My colleague KL and I had rented the cottage for over a year. During this time, we had a consulting assignment nearby.
Coming in the evenings to the "House by the Lake," perhaps having breakfast outside on the terrace in the morning, had real relaxing value during stressful phases at work.
A thousand thanks to the landlady and her better half. It was great - we would love to come back.
