You live in a comfortable holiday home on the outskirts of Breitenbrunn. The house was completed in August 2007.
The furnishings are very tasteful and selected with great attention to detail. You live on approx. 60 sqm on 2 floors. On the upper floor there are 2 separate bedrooms with a double bed and 3 single beds respectively. From the sheltered balcony you can enjoy nature and evening peace. Also on the upper floor is a small utility room where you will find a thousand small things for everyday life (clothes horse, clips, vacuum cleaner and cleaning equipment), here you can also store your suitcases, bags etc.. On the ground floor you have a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped. Here you will also find all the small accessories to make you feel at home. From the dining area you have a beautiful view of your terrace. The living room is equipped with a seating area and satellite TV. You can end the day in a cosy atmosphere by the fireplace. In front of the house you have a nice terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. The parking spaces are directly at the house.

Our cottage befindt in a quiet location on the outskirts of Breitenbrunn at the foot of the mountain raven. From here walks are also no problem to neighboring Czech Republic. For winter sports enthusiasts, we are an ideal starting point. The sport Rabenberg has numerous sporting activities. For children there is plenty to explore in the nearby forest. The mountain village width Brunn is located in the heart of the Ore Mountains near the Czech border. To 1380 first mentioned, the location is situated between the mountain and the Auer Fichtelbergbahn. The village has about 7000 inhabitants and a well-developed place befindte a large supermarket and several small shops such as bakers and butchers, post office and gift items as well Erzgebirge folk art. Similarly, there are doctors, dentists, pharmacy and hospital.

Again and again......Erzgebirge!!!
When we arrived in Breitenbrunn after nearly 700 km, we were warmly and kindly welcomed (2 adults and a dog). The house is located at the foot of the Rabenberg, nestled in beautiful nature. The house is beautiful and impresses with cleanliness inside (thumbs up). Inside the house, you will find everything you need. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Highly recommended
We, 4 people between 55 and 75 years, were allowed to spend a week in a great log cabin. In the house, the already lit fireplace provided a feeling of cosiness upon our arrival. The domicile is equipped with modern, new, tasteful furniture. We would especially like to emphasise the cleanliness. The whole object is very well maintained.
The people we met during our week are very cordial - just as we had hoped - many thanks to all involved. We will definitely visit the Erzgebirge again!

Super Urlaub

Learn to love the warmth of the fireplace
We were there in Oct 2020, it was wonderful. The house was not occupied for a few days before our arrival, it was already well heated and in the evening we sat relaxed in front of a great warm fireplace. It heated the whole house and the heat lasted for a long time, the wood stored everything super. The electric heating is only there for emergencies or to heat the house on the day of arrival, as the stove needs a moment when no one is in the house. But all this is explained to you on arrival, because everyone knows what it can cost to heat a house with electricity. On the other hand, we were happy to pay 4 euros per box for the wood, which was refilled immediately. The house is fantastic for switching off in a relaxed environment. Nothing is missing. There is enough crockery. The rooms are beautifully decorated. You immediately feel like you are on holiday and can let your mind wander. The beds are also super comfortable. We were able to sleep soundly after long excursions. It felt like being with Heidi in the mountains...
That's why we'll be back this year. We are looking forward to it, especially to the crackling fireplace and its great warmth. So highly recommended. We are a family of 3.

Nice holiday home with a possible cost trap in the cold season.
During the winter months, the house cools down relatively quickly. The primary source of heat should be the wood stove. It is not advised to use the electric heaters as they cause extremely high electricity costs that the tenant must bear. Unfortunately, we were not informed about this when we signed the lease. The box of wood is charged at 4 €. A lighter was not available.

Zunächst einmal möchte ich sagen, das ich es sehr schade finde, das Sie keinen optimalen Urlaub hatten. Jedoch wird sowohl im Inserat als auch auf der Buchungsbestätigung ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen, das die Nebenkosten (Strom, Wasser) nach Verbrauch vom Mieter selbst getragen werden. Bei richtiger Verwendung des Kamins ist das Ferienhaus sehr schnell und sehr nachhaltig erwärmt. Bei Problemen bei der Nutzung des Kamines und fehlenden Streichhölzern hätten Sie sich jederzeit telefonisch an mich oder persönlich an einen Ansprechpartner vor Ort wenden können.
