Quiet location. Near the forest 2 km. Experience a holiday in its most beautiful way. Our little place Vordergereuth is only 9 km away from the experience mile stone pot. Here you have a variety of leisure activities to choose from. Ahorntal in itself but there are also all sorts to discover. Here you will find Rabenstein Castle, the world-famous Sophie Cave, the cave Ludwig smaller and much more. For walkers and cyclists there are a number of well-marked hiking trails and cycling.

Large apartment with great view.
We, as a family with 2 primary school children, spent a week in late autumn at the Neubig family's place.
The apartment is truly very spacious, and the kitchen is perfectly equipped. From the very cozy corner couch in the living room, you have a beautiful view of the greenery and can access the garden through the "private" balcony. The apartment is absolutely quiet, yet you have only short distances to the tourist highlights in Pottenstein and Bayreuth. There are endless hiking opportunities, which are highly enjoyable for children due to the caves, for example! As mentioned in the description, the holiday apartment is located beneath the landlady's apartment. If someone has a light sleep in the early morning hours, they might feel disturbed by the quite audible footsteps directly above, which are long enough to wake one from sleep. Despite the very foggy weather in our area, we had a good time in this apartment. The location is ideal for exploring the city on foot.
