Description
Situated between the sea and the mountains, our holiday home "Villa L" offers everything for a comfortable and relaxing vacation in the hinterland of St. Tropez. The villa belongs to a small residence with a communal pool, located just a few steps from the center of the small picturesque village of La Garde-Freinet.
Very well equipped, with bathrooms renovated in 2018 and 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, it accommodates 6 people (+ 1 baby). The ground floor features a spacious living/dining area with an open kitchen, a shower room with WC, and leads to a private, sunny terrace with an old olive tree in the center. The terrace is surrounded by a green hedge, private and sheltered from the wind. Garden furniture for 6 people and a sun lounger are available for you. If the weather happens to be bad, it is no less cozy inside. DVDs, books, and games for the whole family are also provided. All 3 bedrooms are located on the upper floor of the townhouse: the master bedroom has a large box spring bed (1.80m x 2m) and a sunny balcony facing the inner courtyard of the residence with a view of the terrace and the pool. The second bedroom has two single beds (0.90m x 2m), which can be pushed together to form one bed, and the children's room has a bunk bed (0.90m x 2m) with its own balcony overlooking the valleys. On the upper floor there is also a bathroom with two sinks and a bathtub with shower option, as well as a separate toilet.
The three rooms are equipped with air conditioning, which ensures pleasantly cool nights in summer and cozy warmth in the pre- and post-season.
A gas grill invites you to grill regional delicacies—the butcher in town offers a wide selection of grill meats, and at the local markets you will always find a large variety of fish. All shops, including the bakery, are just a few steps from the house.
The secured communal pool of the residence is open from mid/end of May until the beginning/mid of October and offers plenty of swimming and bathing fun for young and old alike.

Location and surroundings of object
The Résidence Indigo is located at the foot of La Garde-Freinet overlooking the valleys of Provence Verte. The Résidence consists of 16 terraced villas arranged in the style of a "Hameau" (small hamlet) horseshoe-shaped. Although modern and with all comforts, you are only a few steps away from the centre of the village with restaurants, bars, cafés and romantic old lanes.
In approx. 20-35 minutes you are at the beaches of Grimaud, St. Tropez, Ramatuelle, Cavalaire or Sainte-Maxime and in approx. 45-50 minutes at the beaches of Le Lavandou/Bormes les Mimosas. Many hiking trails start right in front of our door. You should climb up to the cross over La Garde-Freinet to enjoy the incredible view over the valleys and the village.
The motorway exit Le Luc/Le Cannet-des Maures A6 is just 15-20 minutes away. All shops for daily needs can be found in La Garde-Freinet, where there is also a small market twice a week
The nearest large supermarkets/Hypermarché can be found in Cogolin or Gassin, each only 15 minutes by car. The airport Nice can be reached in approx. 1,25 hours, the airport Toulon-Hyères in approx. 1 hour drive. The small airport St. Tropez in La Môle is 25 minutes away.

| Minimum rental period: 7 days Are basically included: Bed linen, towels, pool sheets according to the persons booked. Please add the Taxe de Séjour of 1,50 - 2,60 Euros per adult/day. For a rental period of up to 9 days, we charge a flat rate (for linen, taxes, etc.) of 95 euros. For bookings of 10 days and more, linen and final cleaning are included. In the high season (July, August) the arrival is only possible on Saturday or Sunday. At all other times the arrival days are freely selectable. The baby kit (bed, high chair, bathtub, potty, etc.) costs 15 Euro/stay. |
Cancellation terms:
Our conditions are 30% advance payment at the time of booking, final payment 6 weeks before arrival plus a security-deposit of 400 euros. The advance payment is non-refundable in case of cancellation. The deposit is refundable within 8-10 days after check-out, provided there was no damage etc.

The holiday house will be rented out after its renovation in summer 2018. Minimum rental period: 5 or 7 days (mid and high season 7 days).
Includes: Bed linen, towels, kitchen cloths, pool sheets (hamam towels) according to the number of people booked, electricity, water, and other general unforeseen expenses.
The beds are made upon arrival, so you will only have to store your personal belongings, and the holidays can begin! For a rental period of up to 9 days, we charge a flat fee (for laundry, general incidental expenses, and cleaning) of 95 euros. From 10 days onward, cleaning, additional expenses, and bed linen and towels are included.
The only additional charge is the Taxe de Séjour (stay/tourist tax), depending on the season: 1.50–2.50 euros/adult per day.
Our holiday home is available for rent from mid-March to early November. If you are traveling with a baby, you can reserve a baby set for 15 euros/stay (travel crib for baby, high chair, baby bathtub, potty, baby bedding incl. duvet covers/sheets - see photos)

Relaxing holiday in charming French village
We spent two relaxing weeks in this beautiful, well-equipped and well-kept holiday home. Renovated and modern bathrooms, very good beds and especially the kitchen equipment including a great barbecue on the terrace, which itself invited us to linger, delighted us. Parking was available in the complex and on the shoulder of the road directly adjacent to the residence. Within 200 m walking distance from the house there is a bakery and pastry shop, a small supermarket, a butcher's shop, restaurants and an ATM as well as a wine shop. By car you can reach beaches and larger shops in 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Very pleasant and accommodating landlords who provided us with all the necessary information and recommendations. We felt very comfortable and will gladly come back.

We are a German-French family with 3 children and made our dream of a house on the Côte d'Azur become true. Our Villa L has everything we wanted: Close to the sea, but not directly in the hustle and bustle of St. Tropez, nature on your doorstep, but at the same time the possibility to do everything on foot, a pool for the children and us La Garde-Freinet is situated in the heart of the Massif des Maures, a low mountain range, directly above the coast and offers all possibilities - for us a dream of vacation.
