Some things should be done there.

The great pool, the beautiful terrace, and the outdoor facilities including the garden furniture are positive aspects to mention. What bothered us the most was the fact that the house was totally "run down" inside. Despite a recent final cleaning, there were dead insects everywhere in the corners, cobwebs in all room corners. The kitchen cabinets were filled with food residues of the previous occupants from the last six months, many items were open and partially expired. The silicone joints, especially in the upstairs bathroom, were all covered in mold. These need to be urgently replaced. Overall, all carpets, especially the long-pile ones, and the upholstery emit a very musty smell.
For the truly exclusive rental price, one should be able to expect a clean house with well-maintained sanitary facilities. We even left one night early.
As mentioned, the pool is really great. But what good is the great pool if the rest is really on the edge? The owner MUST respond.
