Our vacation home is a modern fishing house with an open living and dining area.
In the spacious dining area on the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, freezer, electric stove, oven, and dishwasher) including cutlery, glasses, and dishes for up to 12 people, as well as an extendable table with 6 chairs.
Furthermore, there is a master bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a tub/shower and toilet next to the hallway. An additional separate guest toilet is also available.
The living area invites you to relax in the evenings with a cozy seating area and a fireplace. With the additional satellite system, you can receive not only Belgian programs but also German channels. A separate stereo system with a CD player and cassette function allows you to listen to local radio stations.
A staircase leads to the upper floor with two more bedrooms. The left room is furnished with a large French futon bed, and the right room has two single beds.
In the privacy-fenced outdoor area of the house, there is an annex where you will find a wagon and a grill for warm summer evenings. Garden furniture is also available for your use. To eliminate the need for parking, there is a private parking space right in front of the house for your car. The annex contains 4 bicycles that can be used by guests.
The park offers a free heated pool and swimming pool for park residents during the summer months, as well as a playground for children. Additionally, in the neighboring park, tennis courts are available for a small fee, and free Wi-Fi can be accessed at the reception. Please note that this is a non-smoking domicile.

Our holiday home is located in one of the most beautiful spots in Belgium, in a quiet setting in the Zeebos holiday park built in 1999 on the outskirts of Bredene, in front of the dunes of the North Sea.
The beach with the dune landscape in front of it is approximately 800 meters away, and the center of Bredene is about 1 kilometer away. The coastal tram, connecting the entire Belgian coast, is halfway to the sea (about 400 meters).
Bike paths and hiking trails are well signposted to the west and north, leading through the still natural polder landscape and inviting exploration.
In Bredene, there are various shopping options (Aldi, Lidl, Spar, etc.) as well as laundromats for your laundry. Many restaurants and typical Belgian pubs invite you and your family or partner to linger. During the holiday season, Bredene's city center offers 2-3 free tourist events daily. You can obtain an event program at the tourist information center.
If you're in the mood for extensive shopping, Ostend is easily accessible by car (about 4 km - you can park in the city center) or by tram along the coast. The coastal tram runs every 20 minutes along the entire Belgian coast (about 70 km).
Recommended are also trips to the upscale seaside resort of De Haan, located approximately 3 km away. Here, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset on a terrace at a restaurant. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the historic city of Bruges, where you can relax and lose track of time on a canal tour.
From Belgium, you can also take day trips to London, with or without a car. Day trips can be booked at almost any travel agency in Ostend or directly at the ferry port.
Between Bredene and De Haan, there is a SunPark with a public tropical swimming pool and other leisure activities.

A slightly different vacation.
The house belongs to a rather small and manageable holiday park, and it was very quiet all around. The furnishings of the house are cozy and practical at the same time. A floor lamp with reading light is also available, which came in handy for me while reading in the evening. The kitchenette is well-equipped and looks new. Garden furniture is plentiful. We had brought bicycles, but only used them once because we did almost everything (except for shopping) by tram, train, and on foot. A tip: go for a beach walk to De Haan or Oostende for some ice cream and take the coastal tram back for little money. You can also easily get to Bruges by tram and train. We really enjoyed our holiday in the house and the surroundings, and if we feel like a tram holiday again, we will book this house again.

Beautiful holiday home for a beach vacation.
The holiday home is in great condition, well-maintained, and generously equipped. Everything for a pleasant holiday inside or outside the holiday home is available and provided by the friendly owner. We were initially uncertain about whether a holiday was worthwhile due to the current corona situation, but we have been proven wrong.
The beach and the town center of Bredene are wonderful and can be reached quickly by foot or bicycle. After our children had a great time in the sea, we settled down at one of the many beach restaurants and watched the sunset.
So, whoever can find a free spot in the booking calendar should book quickly.
We had a wonderful time and will be back soon!
