Your holiday home is a cosy, comfortably furnished holiday flat with mountain view, ideal for a holiday for two.The flat is located in the attic of our house and has a bedroom (second bedroom can be used), complete kitchen with electric cooker (Ceran) and microwave, large living room with dining and sitting area, hall cloakroom, separate WC, modern shower with underfloor heating, telephone, free WiFi and flat screen TV (Full HD, USB, DVB-C reception), hi-fi system/CD player
W-lan and flat screen TV (Full HD, USB, DVB-C reception), hi-fi system/CD player. The furnishings and equipment are tastefully and harmoniously coordinated, and all the linen for the flat is available. Storage room for skis, toboggans etc., drying room, as well as the joint use of washing machine and dryer for an extra charge is possible.
Our house has a large garden with sunbathing lawn, garden furniture, covered seating area with barbecue, children's playground.

Cranzahl, ideally located between the Adam Ries and mountain town of Annaberg-Buchholz and the winter sports resort of Oberwiesenthal, is a convenient starting point for getting to know the beautiful Ore Mountains with all their facets in every season. A small, dreamy village at the gates of Oberwiesenthal, at the foot of the Fichtelberg, known as Saxony's sports and recreation centre.
Surrounded by lots of forest, mountains with deep-cut valleys,
lush mountain meadows allow rest and relaxation from everyday life.
In the village there is a smokers' museum, a historic narrow-gauge railway (Fichtelbergbahn) and a drinking water dam, which is a good starting point for hiking or geocaching tours in the beautiful surroundings.
Centrally located in the Erzgebirge on the Kammweg( quality hiking trail of the Erzgebirge) and 2km from the Stoneman Miriquidi Mountenbiketrail(2 countries +++ 9 peaks +++ Hm - 162 km pure mounten bike emotion!)
you can reach many attractive excursion destinations within a short distance.

Hospitality writ large
We were able to spend 4 days during Advent in beautiful Cranzahl with the Kaufmann family. The accommodation leaves nothing to be desired, everything is very lovingly furnished, clean and well maintained. The flat is spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. The surroundings invite you to hike, look and marvel. The bakery and butcher are directly opposite and the Edeka market is within walking distance. There is so much to do, whether it is the narrow-gauge railway to Oberwiesenthal or the soup and smoked man museum and much more, we will certainly visit again. The landlords also provide lots of tips
Many thanks again to the Kaufmann family for the warm welcome. You don't find such nice and committed landlords everywhere.

free time activities: Es gibt sehr viele Ausflugsziele, die auf kurzen Wegen erreichbar sind.Super ist die Erzgebirgscard, man kann kostenlos mit Bus und Bahn unterwegs sein, da der Ort verkehrsgünstig liegt.
shopping facilities: Im Ort kann man Waren des täglichen Bedarfes kaufen.
Bäcker und Metzger sind gegenüber der Unterkunft.
Sonntags gibt es frische Backwaren.
