Description
The newly renovated neo-Breton south facing house is located on the beach of Brehec and has sea views from all rooms.
A beach terrace for sunbathing or taking meals is located between the house and the beach
On the entrance floor there is the hall, the kitchen, the living room, also the spacious bathroom with shower and a separate toilet.
From the dining table and the sofa in the living room you have a direct view of the beach and the sea. In the cooler season a pellet stove provides warmth and comfort. On the upper floor there are two bedrooms, one with a large double bed, the other with two comfortable single beds. Here too the dormers face the sea. There is a WC between the bedrooms.
Maison Avel Mor is newly renovated.
If you rent the apartment Avel Mor, which is located on the ground floor and has a separate entrance, you will receive greatly reduced rates.

Location and surroundings of object
Brehec Plage is located between the municipalities of Plouha and Plouezec, where high cliffs alternate with fantastic bays. There is a small family beach on the promenade, but the further you go from there, the more wildly romantic it becomes. At the end of the bay is the Grève de Padel, a bizarre arrangement of red rocks that invite you to sit and watch crabs, crayfish and young fish in small "mini-ponds". On the promenade, small bars and quaint bistros offer aperitifs and co as well as Breton cuisine. The small sailing school offers courses in sailing, kayaking or stand-up paddling. For shopping, go en bourg, where several good bakers and a small supermarket offer their goods, Saturdays is market day: fresh oysters, shellfish, fish, lamb and veal, artichokes and, and, and. A detour to Paimpol, a lively harbour town, takes only minutes. Boat trips depart from here, as well as from L'Arcouest: to or around the flower island of Île de Brehat. The Côtes de Granit Rosé with its famous rock formations, the medieval towns of Trégieur, Lannion, Pontrieux and Guingamp are also close by. The historic seaside resorts of St Quay-Portrieux and Etables sur mer with their Belle Époque architecture are a few minutes south.

From the 29th day up to the day of the start of the rental period, and in case of no-show without a cancellation notice, 90% of the total price will be charged.

relaxing holiday in France with sea view
As a family of four with a seven-year-old and an eleven-year-old, we spent two wonderful weeks at Maison Avel Mor in the Bay of Brehec. The house left nothing to be desired, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the beds were cozy. Every evening, the sound of the waves lulled us to sleep and kissed us awake in the morning. Having meals in the small garden with a view of the beach and the sea was just as much of a highlight as enjoying a good book on the deck chairs with an ocean view.
The two bars directly below the house are both highly recommended; we really enjoyed the short walk to get fresh crepes.
The surroundings invite you to hike in nature or along the beach, and seashells straight out of a picture book provide new motivation every day. The hosts took wonderful care of us, provided great advice before our trip, and were always available for communication—which was extremely comfortable for us, as it was possible in German. Despite mixed weather, we had a varied vacation with beach days, hikes, and city trips, and we would love to come back!

Summer dream
A wonderful place to relax in late summer - you can't imagine it any better.
Friendly, helpful and uncomplicated support during our stay. The beach right outside the door, the cozy bistros and restaurants around the corner; in the evening complete tranquility.

Maison Avel Mor: Avel Mor House
We spent two wonderful weeks here, in which Brittany could show its many faces: from rainy to cloudy hiking weather, to radiant beach days, everything was included. And the house is perfectly equipped for any weather. You can comfortably spend the day, observe families on the beach, or embark on active hikes and excursions in the surroundings. The kitchen is well-equipped to process the purchases from the surrounding markets and enjoy them on the terrace. But the restaurants within walking distance also offer good options. The time was too short to see and enjoy everything - we will gladly come back!

Positive memory in 2020
The strange year 2020 is coming to an end and we look to see if there was anything positive despite Covid = YES = our holiday in Brittany in the small app. in Maison Avel Mor...the location is a dream and it's enough to look out of the window every morning and see how far away or how close it is....good equipment and the small pellet stove is worth its weight in gold :-) which we really appreciated in the first week...wonderful surroundings and not to forget the totally nice landlords..personal welcome and lots of tips...many THANKS...a very nice review for us and helps in these times...stay healthy and we will surely come here again....
