Description

The Treene, on the other hand, is less than a minute away from our holiday home - only a few metres separate the cosy holiday home from the natural body of water.
The holiday home was extensively renovated in 2016 and designed to meet modern living standards. Externally, the romantic town location is recognisable in the cobbled street.
You enter the holiday property via the main entrance on the Treene side and reach the ground floor. To the left is the newly designed, open-plan living and dining area. The stove in the stylishly furnished living area provides a cosy warmth. The dining area is immediately adjacent, and the kitchen is also open-plan. This creates a pleasant, communal holiday feeling, distinguished by generosity. The private, cosy, south-facing terrace can be accessed from the dining area. A guest toilet is also located on the ground floor.
The first floor can be reached via the wooden staircase. On the left hand side there is a spacious bedroom with an exclusive view of the Treene river and on the right hand side there is another room with sleeping facilities. The modern shower room completes the floor.
A pleasant journey from the direction of Hamburg is possible via the motorway 23 and subsequently via the federal road 5 or by train at hourly intervals to the Friedrichstadt railway station and several times a day with IC connections from the Ruhr area, southern, central and eastern Germany to Husum.

Location and surroundings of object

The holiday area of North Friesland on Germany's west coast has been a real hit for decades, and it is becoming increasingly popular. Interesting destinations for everyone await you at any time of year. Friedrichstadt is a real resort here - between the Treene and Eider rivers lies the historic Dutch town, known for its quaint canals, idyllic and yet central. Modern supermarkets are also open at weekends. From here it is just five minutes by car to the Eider, eight minutes by train to the district and Storm town of Husum and around 20 minutes by car to Tönning with its old harbour and the Multimarwattforum. Even a day trip to Sylt, Föhr or Amrum, to name just a few examples, is no problem thanks to the hourly train and good ferry connections.
