Built around 1900, the house was completely renovated in 2016/17.
On the ground floor is the dining area for 4 people and the kitchen and a desk to complete correspondence.
Behind the kitchen there is still a tiny yard that brings some light into the kitchen and the
pleasant cross-ventilation of the house during high heat. The kitchen has a cooker with Ceranfeld- 2 gas and 2 induction hobs and built-in oven, a fridge freezer and a dishwasher.
On the 1st floor there are two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.
One bedroom has a bed mx m, the second room offers 1 or 2 sleeping berths.
In the attic is a bright living room. The couch can also serve as a sleeping place.
From here you go to the roof terrace, which can not be seen by any neighbors.

The house is located in the "Rue 11 Novembre", which leads to the church. The name "de la paix" owes the house to the name of the street in which it is located. The "promenade", the main square of the town is about 50m.
There you can visit the market in the shade of the plane trees three times a week and otherwise sit on the cafeteria and watch the action. In the village are all shops such as bakeries and butchers, doctors and pharmacies available, which are within walking distance.
Here is also the bus stop of line 16, with which you can drive for 50cent to Valras-Plage or Beziers.
In July and August additionally line 22 goes to Serignan-Plage. The stop is about 300m away on the other Orb bank, right next to the "Passerelle"
Supermarkets such as Carrefour, Aldi and Lidl are located on the outskirts.
In the Cave-Coperative you will find the wines of the Vignerons de Serignan, as well as in the immediate vicinity of various domains that offer regional products such as olive oil and wines.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays is market day, after strenuous shopping one drinks with the locals the obligatory "Pastis" and can then perhaps serve a lunch menu.
Serignan is an ideal location, from which you can enjoy the many scenic, cultural and culinary delights of the region in addition to beach and bathing.

Also the leisure activities will inspire you: The magnificent long sandy beach of Sérignan-Plage is only about 6 km away, interesting cities such as Béziers, Nîmes or Narbonne worth a visit, the hinterland offers numerous destinations, hiking routes, bike paths ....
The nearby Canal du Midi invites to boat tours, as well as bike rides or inline-boardwalks along its shores.
High on horseback, the dune landscape can also be explored, several "Ranches" at Serignan-Plage offer rides.
Playing tennis in Serignan, golf in Bezier, KITE surfing in Serignan-Plage, canoeing on the Orb or roller-plates and BMX in the "Parc Sport Urbain" in Serignan are other offers for sporting activities, not to mention the traditional boules Game. For this purpose, locals and holidaymakers meet on the banks of the Orb, in max. 5 minutes walking distance from the house.

Beautiful holiday
Lovingly furnished holiday flat in the middle of Serignan. Everything is within walking distance, no matter if you want to go to the bakery, supermarket, etc. The promenade with its many restaurants and cafés can be seen from the house. You can see the promenade with its many restaurants and cafes from the house. There is also a market three times a week. We didn't have a car and got everywhere by bus and train. We felt at home and will gladly come back.

very nice accommodation
The house is located in the city on a quiet side street. It is just a few steps to the promenade, where a market takes place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Many shops are located in the immediate vicinity. The house has 3 levels: on the ground floor, there is a living room and kitchen; on the 1st floor, two bedrooms and a bathroom; and on the 2nd floor, a large living area and terrace. The house has been completely renovated and radiates a pleasant, homely atmosphere. I felt very comfortable there and will occasionally stay there again.

Had a wonderful vacation!
We were here at the beginning of July with just the two of us and our dog for the first time in Serignan, but it certainly won't be the last! Serignan is a very nice older village that is 5 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bike from the beach. The cottage itself is easy to find and there is a parking area behind it where there is always a spot available. The "House of Peace" is a lovely place with everything you need: Good internet, a beautiful kitchen with good facilities (cooking island with 2 x induction and 2 x gas, a luxury oven, dishwasher...) a nice bathroom with a large shower (very nice), a washing machine, a small outdoor storage where you can easily store your bikes and "last but not least" a rooftop terrace at the back of the property where you can always enjoy the sunshine (with a glass of wine, of course!) ), and no one can see you, delightful privacy indeed! Johannes (the owner and landlord) is very friendly and works nearby. If you have questions or doubts, you can go directly to him, and he is always ready to help you. There is a market three times a week, and this little house is 50 meters away: spacious, and without noise disturbance from it! You can also enjoy great food and walking in the area. All in all, if you want to relax but still want to go out, this is the place!

Pure relaxation
Lovingly renovated old house in the middle of the beautiful town center. Good amenities, nothing missing, pretty terrace for breakfast, dining, and/or relaxing. Since we were traveling without a car, we were able to do everything in the village on foot, and we appreciated the good bus connection to the beach and the neighboring town. We would love to come back next year!

Picturesque city apartment
Beautiful vacation apartment in the middle of the city. Two minutes on foot (if you're not in a hurry, and you shouldn't be in Sérignan...)
