Bison, Rehe, Kaninchen, Reiher, und Stare in großen Beständen formen im Frühjahr und Herbst "schwarze Sonne". “Boderne“ ist einem der schönsten Strände der Insel und liegt 9 Km. von dem Haus. Die schöne Plätze und schöne Städte Bornholms sind mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. "Echo Tal" gleich um die Ecke, Tennis in Aakirkeby und Möglichkeit zu Reiten in dem drittgrößte Wald Dänemarks. Im Haus sind Einzelheiten über die vielen "geheimen" Sehenswürdigkeiten Bornholms.

Vallingebjerghus ist eine charmante renovierte Försterei von 1835 Das Haus liegt in Almindingen, umgegeben von Feldern und Wäldern mit einem autofreien Schotterstraße, zugänglich nur für Radfahrer und Pferde. Die Stille wird nur durch natürliche Klänge und einen frohen Radfahrer hin und wieder unterbrochen. Der Grund ist 3000 m2 gross + der ganze Wald.
