The historic windmill is stunning. Here you can experience the comfort of a special kind - spread over three levels tastefully furnished! Enjoying an idyllic and quiet location - away from the hustle and bustle. With a floor space of 190 square meters / 2050 square feet and three separate bedrooms and an additional alcove bed in the living area - Windmill Catharina accommodate 6 - 8 persons.

Suuuuper beautiful historic mill!
Four of us spent a great week here in the mill. It is very cosy, very clean and everything you need is there.
The weather was very mixed, but you can stay in the mill all day because it is so nice and cosy.
We would recommend it 100 per cent.
Only the location directly on the country road gets a small point deduction.
Nevertheless, it's very easy to cycle from here and you don't necessarily need a car!

Absolutely recommendable
The Catharina Mill is a dream!!..lovingly restored, there is so much to discover - the alcove on the ground floor is great (a place to dream). The owners of the mill are super nice and helpful, in the mill there is also a great folder with information, which we studied immediately. The equipment is amazing! Absolutely nothing is missing, both in the kitchen and in the bathroom and garden. Sunsets from the terrace and a view of the wide countryside, absolute tranquillity and good shopping facilities round off the whole experience. Of course you have to get in the car to get to the beach, but you can get there quickly from the mill in all directions...whether StPeter Ording, Westerhever, Husum or Tönning. Pets are welcome, there were also water bowls on site, which our dogs immediately took up. But the garden also invited us to linger and the dogs could romp around. They especially enjoyed the walk around the mill and small observation walks towards the street. We can absolutely recommend the mill and we will certainly go there again.

Nice holiday home in a quiet location
We stayed at the Mühle Catharina over New Year's Eve 2018/19 and really enjoyed our time there. The unique charm of the mill, the perfectly equipped kitchen for extensive cooking evenings, and the beautiful landscape including great destinations such as the Westerhever lighthouse and the beach in St. Peter-Ording make the holiday with a dog perfect! The landlords were always accessible and very accommodating. We would love to come back!

Fantastic stay in the beautiful mill
We had a very relaxing week and enjoyed every day in the very well equipped mill. Our dogs romped in the garden and we drank coffee on the terraces. It is also the ideal starting point for excursions e.g. to st. Peter Ording, Büsum, Husum, Holm in Schleswig and of course Sylt.
