The beautiful village of Wald with the castle and the historic church lies directly on the shore of Lake Altmühl. It is surrounded by wonderful hiking trails that lead around the lake and thus offer you the best opportunities for peace and relaxation.
Well-kept sandy beaches, with a large Roman adventure playground for the children and all kinds of water sports for the adults. Nature-protected walkable bird paradise on the bird island with observation tower, allowing you a fascinating observation of the rare ospreys.
For four-legged friends, a dog playground with various play equipment and its own access to the dog beach.
Furthermore, 800 km of well-signposted and developed cycling and hiking trails are available to you. Since these trails run almost without inclines, they are easy to manage for all ages.

| A price of €10 per dog per day will be charged. The tourist tax is €2.00 per person (from 18 years) per day. Please understand that our holiday apartment can only be booked during the Easter and Pentecost holidays as well as in the months of June to September for a minimum stay of one week. Should there be any gaps in occupancy during this period, these can gladly be requested.
The entire apartment is equipped with free Wi-Fi, and also features central heating, a modern air conditioning system, as well as ceiling fans. All windows of the loft apartment as well as the balcony door are equipped with insect screens.
The village shop, inn, and riding stable as well as Lake Altmühl are just a few meters away from our holiday apartment and thus almost right on the "doorstep".
For your vehicle, we have reserved a parking space in our enclosed courtyard directly in front of the entrance to the apartment. Other activities nearby include passenger boat trips on the lakes, high ropes course, go-karting, summer toboggan run, fishing, horseback riding, indoor pool with sauna village, outdoor pool, and all kinds of water sports.
