Cottage: A traditional residence of a 19th century Swedish smallholder. You experience the culture and history of the host country in a renovated 'torp' from about 1860. The furnishings are partly still in their original condition! Bedroom with double bed, WC with shower, living room with double sofa bed and kitchenette. Equipped with all kitchen utensils for 4pers.
The house can be heated electrically. Distance to the pizzeria/ice cream approx. 100 m. Distance to the nearest playground with football field approx. 100 m. Travel time from Trelleborg approx. 150 min. mainly on motorways.
Subject to change without notice. Please accept that smoking is not allowed in the building. We are German speaking. WLAN available.

Our "Torp" is located in the small village of Hok, and is part of our property hofähnlichen "Gula Gården". Basic and Garden Areas Covered are big enough so that you can relax undisturbed. The deep forests around Hok invite you to go for extensive hikes. A number of hiking trails are marked and lead through unspoilt Everyman's Right in Sweden:
Everyman's right guarantees everyone access to the forests, bathing and navigating the waters. Discover Swedish forests with animals such as moose, deer, lynx, badger and rare birds such as capercaillie, black grouse (moose safari is offered). In Swedish forests it is generally allowed to light a campfire (follow safety regulations) to pick mushrooms, blueberries and lingonberries in unlimited quantities.
Rental price:
The rental price is inclusive of service charges without final cleaning. The final cleaning is obligatory and has to be done by the tenant.

Peace and relaxation in Smaland
The house is located in the small village of Hok. Shopping is approximately 10 km away and there is a small shop in the village. The children were able to buy ice cream and snacks there. This house was perfect for us! Complete peace and relaxation. The landlords are very friendly and are happy to give tips for activities nearby. You can quickly reach the lake and the forests to gather mushrooms or blueberries. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.
