Very nice, inexpensive old town flat
We rented the large flat on the ground floor, the upper one was occupied, and were allowed to use the small balcony of the upstairs flat. The price is great. The house is located in the old town, directly on the city wall and still very quiet, if you are lucky (we were, despite the end of the week) you can usually find a parking space nearby. - nice furniture - everything within walking distance - nice, helpful landlady with Greek and German roots. Chania has a very nice old town and Chris has good recommendations for restaurants. Good shopping; great atmosphere especially in the evening at the harbour. Good restaurants also outside the old town by the sea, easy to reach on foot. There are also nice beaches some distance away. A car is useful for activities, but not absolutely necessary. We will definitely come back again.

Beautiful, spacious, charming apartment in the Old Town of Chania
We were 5 adults who had a wonderful, comfortable time staying in this very large apartment. This apartment was perfect with lovely furnishings to make us feel welcome. The location of the apartment is great and it is a fantastic price. We would have paid at least three times more had we stayed in a hotel. In addition, Chris (the proprietor) is absolutely lovely. After a delay with the ferry and getting lost, we arrived VERY late (around 2am), however, Chris was extremely kind and stayed up to welcome us and help us find a car park. She even offered us water and wine and beer after our trip! If you chose this apartment you won't be disappointed.

Nice flat with small balcony in the old town but still quiet living - nice furniture - everything within walking distance - friendly, helpful landlady who speaks perfect German.
