Luxurious Home in Les Issambres with Swimming...
A nice house that is fully equipped. Spacious kitchen, good beds, nice location and a good working air conditioning (no luxury at 30+ degrees). Located on a quiet property with about 25 houses.As it is a corner house, there is more than enough privacy. is great, with a glimpse of the Mediterranean.The pool is small, but when we were there it was always quiet, usually only a few gasten.De contacts with the owner (Frank) and the manager on the spot (Gillian) were very gezellig.Alet already had a wonderful holiday!
Residence Les Calanques, Les Issambres
Let me start positive. We were kindly received by the receptionist who spontaneously started to speak English the moment I indicated that I did not fully understand her sentences and upon entering we found a clean apartment. The apartment is small, actually too small for four adults. Furthermore, there would be sufficient cupboard space if not all cupboards were filled with material belonging to the apartment. Living out of the suitcase for the entire holiday is therefore the only option. What was most disappointing, however, was that we never had a cleaner visit us during the 10-day stay. The towels provided were also not refreshed. Inquiries at the reception showed that this was also the policy, we were allowed to wash our towels ourselves in the available washing machine for an amount of € 6 per wash. This may be common in French apartments, we have no experience with this, for us in any case an unusual state of affairs, which we have been very surprised and slightly annoyed about.
Beautiful holiday home with garden
Our experience was absolutely perfect. The house (more like villa) has everything and more of what you need. Multiple rooms with air conditioning, multiple bathrooms as well, 2 fridges, a brand new BBQ, a swimming pool with disco lights and inflatable toys. The hosts are also very nice and hospitable (they only speak French though). Navigation is a bit of an adventure: just look for the big white sign that says "De Diego Jardins" on the main road "Rte de Marchandise". I would gladly return to this place again.
