“Sole” is a refined three-roomed flat that is inspired by the colours that are most frequent in our splendid region, from the yellow of the sun to its warmest tones of orange. Like the others, it is located on the Ionian coast not far from the centre of Acireale, a splendid town at the slopes of Etna, half way between Catania and the famous tourist centre of Taormina. The apartment is decidedly above average and fully equipped for every need, with an attentive eye to both elegance and functionality. It has a balcony with a breathtaking view, so wide that you can sunbathe, eat or just lounge around, all at the same time. In any case there is also a solarium on the ground floor just a few metres from the water’s edge with private beach access. The house can sleep up to seven, and all beds are relaxing and comfortable. In the apartment you will find: air-conditioning in all rooms, TV, satellite with NDS decoder (subscribers to Italian pay-TV will be able to see their favourite programmes even when on holiday with their own smart-card), microwave oven, large traditional oven, mobile mosquito screens on the windows and balcony, sunbeds, outside furniture, personal washing machine. The price also includes: bathroom towels and sheets for each guest, 1 car park space, electricity and water.

The exclusive morphology of the Ionian coast presents us with an incomparable landscape that can be appreciated from our apartments that, thanks to their superb position, offer our guests the possibility of enjoying a memorable holiday. We are only 20 minutes’ drive from Fontanarossa, Catania’s international airport, just a few kilometres from Taormina, the most well-known tourist destination on the Eastern coast, and around 20 kilometres from Etna, Europe’s largest volcano. There are numerous places to visit, very different between themselves but in any case able to satisfy all varieties of curiosity and interest. These range from natural beauty (the Gole dell’Alcantara, for example, a natural canyon with its imposing basalt walls) to historical and artistic beauty (the baroque of Acireale and Noto, as well as the Greek theatres in Taormina and Syracuse, to mention just a few) and include the ecological and gastronomic routes as far as our seaside destinations (from the beach in Giardini Naxos to the lava cliffs on the lemon coast, to again return to the beach at Fontane Bianche).

The apartments we are offering are located in Stazzo, a coastal town set between citrus orchards and high black lava cliffs and just a few kilometres from Acireale, the famous town at the foot of Etna, famous for its baths, the baroque influence, the carnival, its pastry specialities and its natural and architectural beauty.

Our residence alive the first season in 2005, therefore is most new. There is air conditioning and heating on each room (and Kitchen too), and TV-SAT, Cooker, Microwave oven, fridge, washing machine, in other words, you will find all the comforts for a beautiful sojourn. The kitchen is not a simple "cooking angle" but it's an autonomous room divided from the other rooms so that not to have to feel the unpleasant perfumes of the foods and it's endowed by all accessories. It has a balcony(big like a terrace) with a breathtaking view, so wide that you can sunbathe, eat or just lounge around, all at the same time. In any case there is also a solarium on the ground floor just a few metres from the water’s edge with private sea access(from the apartment to the sea 10 meters are alone). It's 20 minutes far from Catania airport (by car). The flat is on a strategic position to visit a lot of turistic places. It's on the middle way between Catania and Taormina, very interesting is the archaelogic site (Greece) situated in Syracuse (80 km far). In the same town Acireale) you can find many beautiful example of Baroque (like the church of S. Sebastian or the Cathedral). You can easily reach the top of the vulcan Etna and see many characteristics place in the neighbourhood.
