We arrived after a long journey in perfect weather and instantly felt at home. The children immediately ran around the large garden property. It is bordered by many bushes and trees and is very quiet.
The holiday house is very rustic and simply cozy. Everything you need is there. Without too much frills. As a welcome, Helli (the landlord) put a very delicious strawberry cake in the fridge for us. It is also worth mentioning the pleasant and always helpful communication with Helli.
The area, and especially the nearby beach, is very beautiful and rarely visited. One has a great view of the sea and the impressive Storebelt Bridge.
On Zealand itself, there is much to discover. Notable mentions include the Viking site Trelleborg, the Labyrinth Park Kalvehave, the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde, and the Røsnæs Lighthouse in Kalundborg. There is still much more. There are plenty of shopping opportunities in the area.
The people are friendly and the weather is very pleasant. Lots of sun, wind, and a bit of rain. Never too hot.
All in all, great 2 weeks in beautiful Denmark. Unfortunately too short.
Would love to do it again!

We have seen a lot, Nykobing Falster Museum Obscurum, Moen-Stege - beautiful church, Liselund P with a very beautiful park, Moen Klint, still want to go to Copenhagen, bridge to Malmö and to Lolland. In Kaerrebaeksminde there are good shopping and dining options, Smörrebrod excellent in all varieties. Highly recommended. The weather is very changeable, one can adapt to that.
