We, an older couple with 2 dogs, thoroughly enjoyed our 3 weeks in the beautiful, tastefully furnished and spacious house with a very large, fenced garden and a wonderful, privately visible pool and fantastic terrace. The view of the garden and the mountains and small church in the front is very beautiful. The bed is excellent, wide enough, with an excellent mattress. We lacked nothing. The landlords, Mrs. and Mr. Trierweiler, are very, very pleasant, warm-hearted and helpful. Their 2 dogs Gustav and Emil were the delight of our four-legged ladies. We are thrilled and have already booked 3 weeks in 2024. That says it all!

In two of the valleys, Vallée des Merveilles and Vallée de Fontanalbe, there are about 35,000 Bronze Age rock carvings. The images depict humans and animals as well as tools and mysterious geometric figures.
