Description
The holiday home is located on a 480 sqm plot and is divided in a family-friendly way.
The house offers approx. 115 sqm of space for 8 people. On the first floor there is a 1.60 m wide double bed in the master bedroom, a smaller extra guest bed (1.90 m x 90 cm) and a small children's room with a 1.40 m wide futon and a smaller extra guest bed. The living and dining room is on the ground floor. There is also a kitchen with dishwasher and a bathroom with washing machine and shower. The bathroom and kitchen were newly renovated in 2019.
The basement offers space for another 4 people. There are two double beds, one 1.40 m wide and another 1.60 m wide. On this level there is another bathroom with washbasin and toilet. We provide a travel cot and a high chair for babies free of charge on request
The house has electric heating with marble infrared radiators, but there is also the possibility of heating with wood stoves, both on the ground floor and in the basement (which would be the cheaper option). We provide 4 packs of wood briquettes per stay free of charge, in case of increased consumption the guests would have to take care of the purchase themselves (you can find them in almost all discounters or DIY shops or also in the local corner shop). We are also happy to provide additional packs for an extra charge of 3 €/ pack
For children there are toys ( Lego , children's books , ), for adults there are various board games such as Tabu, card games, game collections. Pets are generally not allowed.
Otherwise, hammocks in the house invite you to chill out. Important : NON-SMOKING HOUSE!!! Car parking is free of charge, the car can be driven up to the house for loading and unloading, the parking space is about 150 m away from the house.

The Fichtelgebirge holiday home is idyllically situated on the edge of a small holiday home settlement in an absolutely quiet location in the immediate vicinity of Lake Nagel. Those who love nature will get their money's worth in the resort of Nagel. You can explore numerous hiking trails directly from the house.

3-generation holiday
Together with our parents-in-law and brother-in-law, we spent a few wonderful days here. The peace and quiet and the view from the balcony were brilliant
The holiday home is equipped with everything you need and very comfortably furnished. The only thing we didn't like was the Wi-Fi, but I don't mind doing without that on holiday ;)
It was really nice and since we haven't hiked everything there is to hike yet, we will definitely come back. :)

Winterurlaub
Wir konnten mit unseren Kindern und Enkeln wunderschöne sonnige Tage mit Wintersport im Fichtelgebirge und im Nurdach- Haus verbringen. Es war alles vorhanden, was man für solch einen Urlaub benötigt. Nur die Bedienung der Nachtspeicheröfen war neu für uns. Dafür nutzten wir den Kaminofen um so mehr- herrlich romantisch und warm. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Beautiful house, also for families
We spent a very nice holiday in this holiday home. The location near the lake in Nagel is wonderful. You can go hiking and cycling right from the house. The only thing that Destination Fichtelgebirge needs to work on is the signposting on the hiking and cycling paths
The holiday home is super cosy, we especially liked the fireplace. It is also very suitable for a holiday with children. We liked that there were toys for the children and appropriate equipment (travel cot, high chair) and that everything was clean, tidy and very well maintained
Kitchen and bathroom are as good as new and very well maintained. There is also a sufficiently large table for a full occupancy of 7 people.
There are only deductions for the electricity heating (if you don't only want to heat with the fireplace), as this is relatively expensive. You have to bring your own wood, which is not easy with a car full of three children.
All in all, however, I can only recommend the house

Cosy turn of the year in front of the fireplace
After a stressful pre-Christmas period, we felt very comfortable from the first moment in the beautifully and homely furnished cottage. We received a very friendly welcome, the fireplace was already burning invitingly and we were able to start decelerating right away. We were very happy to find a new kitchen including dishwasher and a freshly renovated bathroom. The location on the lake is perfect for hiking. Interesting destinations in the Fichtelgebirge can be reached quickly. Overall, everything was perfect and we were able to relax perfectly. We will gladly come back and recommend the cottage without reservation.

Traumhafte Unterkunft
Wir wollten ein paar Tage in naturnaher Umgebung auspannen und haben in diesem schnuckeligen Häuschen ein paar wundervolle Urlaubstage verbracht. Die Lage ist super, direkt neben einem Wald in ruhiger Lage, an einem kleinen See gelegen. Da lädt schon allein die Aussicht zum Träumen ein (direkter Blick auf den Wald & Fluss). Perfekt um mit den Kindern raus in die Natur zu gehen.
Das Bad und die Küche wurden vor unserer Ankunft komplett neu saniert (sehr modern & schick) und in der Küche gibt es sogar eine nagelneue Spülmaschine. Ganz besonders gefallen haben uns die Öfen, die eine richtig urige Hütten-Atmosphäre herzaubern. Super gemütlich und optimal eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen perfekten Urlaub braucht. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Himmlisch ruhige Winterferien
Wir (2 Familien mit je 2 Erwachsenen und 1 Kind (5+12 Jahre) haben den Jahreswechsel im Ferienhaus verbracht.
Es ist supergemütlich und himmlisch ruhig. Das Haus liegt am Ende der Feriensiedlung, direkt am Waldrand. Direkten Blick auf den See hat man nicht, jedoch nur weil er etwas um die Ecke liegt. Er ist jedoch in 3 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
Ideal im Winter ist der Rodelhang hinter dem Haus. Man kann ihn von der Terrasse aus sehen und somit die Kids beruhigt auch alleine draußen rodeln lassen.
Zu empfehlen ist auch die Skischule Hottenroth auf der Südseite. Es sind in der Umgebung innerhalb 15 Minuten mit dem Auto sehr viele Skilifte in allen Schwierigkeitsstufen erreichbar.
Das Haus selbst ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche etwas klein, jedoch alles außer einer Spülmaschine vorhanden. Toll ist die Durchreiche zum Essbereich im Wohnzimmer. Die Kaminöfen lassen das Haus noch kuschliger wirken.
Der Kontakt zu Frau Kastner sowie zu Ihrer Mutter, welche das Haus verwaltet, war einwandfrei und unkompliziert.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können es Familien wärmstens empfehlen, jedoch nicht mit Kleinkindern (Krabbelkinder) wegen der Treppen oder dann Treppensicherungen mitnehmen!

Ein Ort zum Entspannen und Zeit mit seinen Freunden zu verbringen
Das Haus liegt nur ein paar Meter vom See entfernt. Der Ausblick ist wunderschön. Mit den Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten bei verschiedenen Ausflugszielen. Die Ofen erzeugen nicht nur eine angenehme Wärme, sondern auch eine besondere Atmosphäre. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und kümmern sich um die Wünsche der Gäste.
Uns hat das Haus sehr gut gefallen und wir können es nur weiterempfehlen!

Schönes Haus für kleine Gruppen
Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 6 Jugendlichen und 2 Betreuerinnen unterwegs. Das Haus liegt wunderbar mitten in der Natur. Im Sommer vermutlich noch schöner als im November, wenn man auch die schöne Terrasse und den Garten nutzen kann. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war unkompliziert und nett. Auf Grund der Treppen würde ich das Haus allerdings Familien mit noch sehr kleinen Kindern nicht empfehlen - für unsere Jugendlichen war es ideal.

Sehr gute Lage
Die Lage ist sehr gut. Wir hatten zudem Glück, dass die umliegenden Häuser nicht belegt waren, so hatten wir noch mehr Ruhe als man dort eh schon hat. Wir konnten direkt vom Haus aus unsere Wanderungen beginnen, ohne erst mit dem Auto weit fahren zu müssen. Der Nagler See täuscht etwas von der Größe her, man ist dort doch ziemlich schnell drumrumgelaufen. Die Ausstattung ist Ferienhaustypisch mit ein paar verliebten Details wie Hängematten oder Hängesitz. Die Terrasse ist sehr groß, da wir nur zu zweit waren, hatten wir sehr viel Platz. Der eingebaute Ofen hat uns eine Woche lang sehr gut mit Wärme versorgt. Der Empfang war sehr nett und keine Wünsche offen. Ein sehr schöner Urlaubsort, an den wir bestimmt nocheinmal wiederkommen werde.

Familientreffen
Aus Wurzen und Landsberg am Lech haben wir uns hier getroffen, um schöne Tage zu erleben.
Oma und Opa konnten nach langer Zeit unsere kleine Enkelin Sophie widersehen!
Wir alle (5) genossen den Aufenthalt in dem Haus, was am besten war das wir bei etwas kälterem Wetter die Kamine benutzen konnten und nicht die Nachtspeicherheizung.
Uns hat es allen gut gefallen, nicht zu vergessen die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Dorf!

Familie mit drei Kindern
Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Trotz zu früher Ankunft wurde alles getan, damit wir so früh wie möglich ins Haus konnten. Eine defekte Kaffeemaschine wurde sofort ersetzt. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus ist sauber und alles war funktionstüchtig. Allessehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Kinder fühlten sich wie zuhause.
Sehr schön ist die Nähe zum See und die Berge. FürKinder unter 10 Jahren super zu bewältigen. Am See gibt es saubere sanitäre Einrichtungen und Duschen. Im Unkreis von 10 km gibt es ausreichend Abwechslung für die Ferienplanung.
