A idyllic spot in Småland.

We had 2 really great weeks. And Denise literally saved our vacation - our booked house was a catastrophe, Denise's house was almost perfect for us and our 4 children and our dog.

We felt very comfortable. Denise as a landlord is very active and thinks of everything, and Mats, the caretaker, is a really great guy. We can highly recommend the accommodation. The equipment will certainly be modernized in some parts, but a lot is brand new and everything is in really good condition.

Sweet little house, about 350m to the nearest bathing beach. With a dog it's a bit difficult, as dogs are not allowed on the beach and there is no dog beach nearby. Otherwise, the house has everything you need, but we were mostly out and about. In rainy weather, you feel a bit trapped in the house since you can't sit outside in the rain. No covering. Otherwise, there is no socket in the bathroom and only one in the kitchen, and in the living room, there is a power strip. But it's not a big deal. It's so typically Swedish 😄 We had a nice vacation. Recommendations: We went hiking a lot in the area. We were in Vimmerby and of course in Kathult and Bullerbyn.

The house is located directly by the lake. One can jump directly into the water from the pier. The house is very quiet in the forest with a large meadow for playing. There is a canoe and a rowboat. The house is well-equipped and lovingly furnished. The children were thrilled and very sad at departure. We would love to come back. Recommendations: Elk Park near Malilla (many explanations, guided tour in German), trip to Hesjön, super beautiful swimming spot a bit hidden near the draisine track below the old ski lift. Ride a draisine (best to book online in advance), Astrid Lindgren World/Vimmerby
