Warm welcome by the owner. Beautifully decorated and the walls aqaurel-paintings by the owner himself. Wonderfully quiet and plenty to see in the area. Definitely worth another to go.

This lodge is definitely recommended, Miss Skinner is super friendly and had us even a Christmas tree put down (we were there the week of Christmas), lovely clean and fresh beds and a nice kitchen with all the trimmings, even a washing machine. There is a box full of tourist attractions and we will gladly add a tip for a day trip to London. Go by car (hour from the lodge) to Croydon, East Station, then get on the train (half hour). Cost for 2 adults and 3 kids (6,9,12 years) equivalent of € 30.00, you can throughout the day in London by bus and metro. You can get off in Victoria, West London and London Bridge, East London. Tasty Fish and Chips you go eat in New Romney on the coast, the Great Fishbar there.
