The apartment was very well designed and generously laid out and tastefully furnished. Even though we (5 adults) had expected a single house based on the description and then essentially found a kind of "townhouse," the friendly neighbors in the other adjacent apartments did not bother us. What was problematic for us was: - In advance, the payment was difficult because my bank classified the provider's bank details as insecure. Therefore, there were weeks of difficulties with the travel agency, the organizer, and the bank, due to which the early payment discount was revoked! Furthermore, a large amount was later debited a second time, which was of course very annoying. The provider immediately apologized for that. - There was only one dish towel in the kitchen, and only a few hand and body towels for so many people. - There was a big garbage problem: The only trash can for all the apartments was constantly full; even when it was emptied on the last day, it was immediately overflowing again. So, there was hardly any place to put the garbage. - A paper collection point doesn't seem to exist in France? Waste separation was therefore hardly possible; I also didn't find a collection point for glass in the residential complex. The vacuum cleaner that was left in a utility room by the washing machine was unfortunately so unsightly that no one wanted to use it. Each apartment should have one separately. - In the apartment, we unfortunately discovered cockroaches and other pests in the kitchen and bathroom in the evening and at night. In the kitchen, there were large joints or cracks in the base area of the built-in cabinets, which naturally allow for a thriving life behind them. This problem could be easily fixed. - Although the administration was reachable via SMS, a personal key handover and key return would have been helpful for better communication.
- The Wi-Fi was mostly unusable; working from home and private phone calls as well as internet use were only very limited and turned into a tedious test of patience.
Overall, a nice apartment and location, but the mentioned issues need to be resolved for the future so that one would like to return.

A beautiful retreat! The terrace was perfect for drinking coffee in the morning sunshine. The proximity to Bayeux made it easy to explore historical sites. The whole family felt comfortable and relaxed here.
