A beautiful chalet with everything you need. We had an 8-person chalet. A private sauna, great beds, two spacious bathrooms, even a wine fridge. Also for everyone a bathrobe with three towels per person. There are chalets under construction, possibly this lowered the price. Booking this chalet next year is twice as expensive! There is free firewood so you can burn plenty. Within walking distance a cozy restaurant, as well as a general practitioner. Bichlbach is quiet and certainly not meant for people looking for cafes, shops, après-ski, and such. We would definitely come back if the price had not doubled. The cleaning could be better, but they may have been late. At 4 PM, the cleaners were not finished.

The house itself is very beautifully done, and you find everything your heart desires: private sauna in the house, fireplace, grill, and numerous kitchen utensils. The concept is definitely worth its weight in gold. We had a great time. However, there are one or two things that prevent me from giving 5 stars. On one hand, the houses are equipped with curtains, but not everywhere, e.g. At the terrace door that leads to the garden, and because it is designed so that all gardens from all houses are oriented in the same direction, it is quite annoying that there is no privacy. In the shower by the window, there is also no blind, which is more than questionable. From our terrace, one could easily look into the first floor of the neighbors' large house, even though one did not want to, because there are no blinds at the windows above, it is unavoidable. The gardens are hardly separated from each other; the small plants take years to grow into a proper hedge. Something else or larger plants simply belong there. Two of the shower rooms had hooks on the doors where you can hang the towels. Only in the largest shower directly next to the sauna was there no possibility to hang the towel or place anything down at all. The space would allow for a small side table to be set up and a few hooks to be hung. And the modern shower without a door... is a disaster... The water is spread all over the bathroom no matter how careful you are. Regarding cleanliness, one must also say something. The house does not seem very well maintained. It is quickly vacuumed and nothing more. In the kitchen, there are heavy stains and splashes on the cabinets. We arrived about half an hour before 4 PM and found that the cleaning staff had not yet been in our house, as she is responsible for the entire facility and the large houses by herself. We came back an hour later at 4:30 PM and found that the house had been "cleaned" in that short time and the beds had been changed, all by one person. The fireplace and the grill were full of ash from previous guests. The cleaning staff simply needs more time or should not be alone so that the houses can be thoroughly cleaned. Our house for 4 people only had a two-seater in the living room, so if 4 adults had been there, there would have been no space to sit together except at the dining table. For a 2-night stay, 2 dishwasher tabs were provided... The houses are great and there is a feel-good atmosphere. We felt very comfortable as a couple. But as I said, a little more privacy and cleanliness would be very desirable, especially at that price...

Ich habe über Hotels.com das Wirtlerhau Bichlbach gebucht. Gemäß Beschreibung sollten 2 Schlafzimmer existieren. Vor Ort stellte sich heraus, dass nur 1 Schlafzimmer existiert und es eine Ausziehcouch im kombinierten Wohn-/Esszimmer/Küche gibt. Eine Ausziehcouch stellt kein vollwertiges Bett und erst recht nicht ein zweites Schlafzimmer dar. Als wir angekommen sind, stand dort ein Schild, dass wir Appartment 12 hätten und der Schlüssel stecken würde. Die Haupt-Haustüre war jedoch verschlossen. Nachdem ich Herrn Wacker angerufen habe, hat er versichert, dass in den nächsten Minuten jemand kommen würde, um die Tür aufzuschließen. Im selben Haus ist auch das Polizeirevier. Nach 30 Minuten warten, erschien zufällig die Polizeistreife und hat uns netterweise reingelassen. Daraufhin erfolgte die Ernüchterung, dass das Appartment nicht den gebuchten Anforderungen entspricht. Beim erneuten Telefonat, wirkte Herr Wacker zwar betroffen, sah den Fehler aber nicht bei sich und konnte keine Abhilfe schaffen. Ich habe dann wenigstens noch um Bettzeug gebeten. Es wurde versichert, dass dies zeitnah geliefert würde. Auch hier wieder eine Negativerfahrung, da die Bettwäsche erst 5 Stunden später vor die Tür gelegt wurde und wir bereits am schlafen waren. Abschließend haben wir uns aufgrund der Umstände und der quälenden Nächte auf der Ausziehcouch entschieden vorzeitig auszuziehen und ein alternatives Gasthaus aufzusuchen. Auch wenn der Betreiber vielleicht dem Konkurrenzdruck erliegen mag und sein Appartment als eines mit 2 Schlafzimmern sieht, so bleibt es dennoch objektiv dabei, dass es sich um 1 Schlafzimmer und eine Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer handelt.
