A nice house on the edge of a small village. A beautiful view from the garden over various meadows. And the nearby chateau. Very quiet location.

A 5-minute drive away is a lovely river to cool off. The children can make dams in it. You can also rent canoes there, highly recommended!

The owners are very nice people. They speak French and English.

Before our vacation started, Topic Travel had already received a great service when answering our questions. For example, we were given a free road map of the area to our surprise at the information package. Great service. The reception on site was excellent and very friendly. Everything was explained and designated. Also the closing at the end of the holiday was fine we received our deposit a day earlier because we wanted to leave early. The information and pictures on the website about the house were exactly the way it was. Sénezergues is a small and very quiet place in a beautiful green landscape. We have walked a lot, with sometimes steep forest paths and often beautiful views. Enjoyed the large garden with views over the hills.The grass was mowed and the garden and terrace was neatly taken care of, there was plenty of sunshine and a lot of shade that made it possible for you to sit everywhere We used the sun loungers a lot! Right next to the house and the garden, but spread throughout the day there are no more than four cars and sometimes a hiker. Rest and lots of privacy! Good to know that the church bells were early in the morning (7 o'clock), but we did not mind that much. There is a bakery and mini supermarket in the area, both in Cassaniouze and Calvinet, about 5km away. The house was clean and tidy, spacious and fine kitchen and equipment. The area is beautiful and quiet, while a number of towns and villages are fairly easily accessible. The holiday home is for sale: it can also be seen, nothing is being done or maintained: leaking faucets, calcified faucets, crumbling plastering, mold on the walls, switches that sometimes / sometimes want to work, then again not .... There was no practical outdoor accommodation: the grass was (partly) mowed and that was it. So eating outside was certainly not an option. Only a small refrigerator available, no freezer. The reception was poor: although notified in good time of the arrival, the key was under the mat and an hour of waiting before anyone saw showed up (a friend of ...) There were absolutely no instructions or directions for shops, doctor, emergency services, while there is also no range for GSM or telephone. On arrival the dishwasher was filled with plates, cups and glasses, which were still had not been washed off, usually caked up so that they first had to soak.
