1 Holiday apartment or home for a holiday with pool in Calabria

We (4-person family; children: 11 and 13 years old) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Mimosa. Fulvia and Stefano are very friendly and willingly provide help and tips when needed. The vacation apartment is a semi-detached house on a huge plot of land where children of all ages can find plenty of space to play football, swing, or swim in the pool. The property is truly an oasis of tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of beach resorts, but can be easily reached by car (which is necessary) within 10 minutes (Capo Vaticano) to 20 minutes (Tropea). In short, we highly recommend Villa Mimosa, especially for families with children.

We were lucky to be the first tenants. Two children, two adults, and a Podenco (dog) were warmly welcomed here. The landlords live one house over, in a secluded location on the mountain with a dreamlike view of the sea from the terrace and pool. Two bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom with everything you need. Bernhard and Susanne have their hearts in the right place and help wherever they can. We had wonderful days, evenings, and shared nights. Evening peace or a party for two is possible here without restrictions. We highly recommend this holiday home and will definitely come back! In brief, a unique experience!

The Villa Mimosa, a newer double vacation home, is stylishly furnished for four people in an absolutely quiet location. It is delightful to start the day on the seating area in a very spacious garden with the singing of birds, and there is also a barbecue, pool, and outdoor shower. It is suitable for people seeking tranquility or for families with children. A car is essential, as it is recommended to reach restaurants, pizzerias, and basic shopping in a few minutes by car. The nearest larger supermarket is located halfway to Tropea. There are several bathing beaches and beautiful secluded bays along the entire coast, which can be reached in a few minutes by car, depending on your taste. A trip to nearby Tropea or southwest to Scilla with its inviting seafood restaurants and one of the most beautiful beaches is highly recommended. The owners of Villa Mimosa, Fulvia and Stefano, are a very friendly and always helpful family who can provide recommendations beyond the well-known tourist attractions that Calabria has to offer. I can highly recommend Villa Mimosa to individuals or families with children who prefer peace, nature, and quiet over hustle and noise. They speak Italian, French and English, and can enrich the holidays with truly commendable tips.
