We were charmed by this farm, upon arrival we quickly noticed that it could perhaps be freshened up a bit. But we soon felt at home here and enjoyed the farm, the peace, the location and everything around it. Our dog could enjoy the garden to his heart's content, our son slept like a baby there and had so much fun. We enjoyed the peace and quiet location. Close to everything, yet far enough away that we were in nature.
Fresh eggs and something tasty in the refrigerator upon arrival are the nice little things that make the stay that little bit more homely. The surprise that was hidden was also nice!
The owner is there for you if you need them, but otherwise he respects your privacy and you will not see them. Pleasant stay!

We spent a week in holiday park Weerterbergen. Two parents with two children aged 3 and 6. Environment was beautiful. The Ambiance was good. The animation team was super. And the employees friendly but ignorant. Many possibilities and trips. However, there are a number of complaints that I describe below point by point. - Before and during the stay: I have contacted the reception several times by phone to inquire about the possibilities for swimming. I was told that my family could swim at the holiday park, but that they work with time slots due to the restrictions around corona. So booking in advance is logical and understandable. Based on this information, which I also found on the website of the holiday park, and Roompot's app, I decided to book. Because: we went on holiday to mainly swim. Once there I was told we could indeed swim but only once during our 7 day stay. I was very shocked, after all, it was not mentioned anywhere, and the reception staff that I had called advance booking had also not told me that it was ultimately one swimming moment during a 7-day stay. This is misleading information. As a consumer and customer I have been informed online and offline about the swimming possibilities. Nobody pointed this out to me, nor was it clearly indicated on the website. All in all, it was an unpleasant conversation, and a frustrated start to our first day of vacation. Because I expressed my disappointment at the reception and called Roompot to inquire further, we were eventually allowed to swim twice more "if possible". A day later after our stay, the information on the website was adjusted and it became clear that it was basically one swimming moment during the entire stay. Roompot park was good. But everything was dirty and old. The house is not cleaned properly. Toilet smells like urine on arrival. To shower for the first time, we pulled the trigger and we had black water.
