What should I say?
Where do I begin?
So many thoughts are swirling.
A beautiful place.
On the arrival day, we were welcomed by the caretaker Locke and his companion Balou.
Locke opened the door for us, and we stepped inside.
He guided us through all the rooms that this wonderful old manor house contains.
We were enchanted, the world of Selma Lagerlöf (1858 - 1940) unfolded before us.
It's more than Lagom. Here, with attention to detail, a place came to life that was only known to us from stories.
"Enlivened!"
Many beautiful details, lovingly crafted, worthy of the time and the house.
There was something new to discover every day.
We fell in love.
We will become repeat visitors.

The kitchen was well equipped, which made our stay more pleasant. We cooked several meals and found everything we needed. Moreover, the nearby restaurants offered great takeout options.
