very very clean and beautiful island. on achill island you can experience the whole of ireland in miniature. every inhabitant is friendly and very nice and everyone greets you in a friendly way. the peace and quiet is only to be recommended for everyone. unfortunately achill island is a bit remote from the rest of ireland and you have to plan your tours. we were only disappointed by the legendary cliffs of moher, as there are much more beautiful cliffs on achill. we recommend galway city for a stroll, the burren, west and newpoort, enniskillen instead of belfast. a pilgrimage route starts from westpoort, which is marked with a cross and you will find very beautiful buildings on this route. all we can say about the accommodation is that it is better than described, you don't need to take anything with you. the open fireplace and the amazing view are breathtaking. a really very nice holiday, which i can recommend to everyone
