Le Chantenay is a hidden gem in the French countryside. The authentic house is clean, well-kept, and has a lovely large kitchen. It is nice to relax in and around the pool. The hot tub that will be added soon provides an extra holiday feeling. The dog had the time of his life. On the large (well-fenced) plot, he could run, play, and curiously wag his tail at the cows in the adjacent meadow. The house has a lot of privacy due to its location in the countryside just outside Chantenay-Saint-Imbert. The highway is nearby, allowing you to reach one of the nearby towns and/or shopping centers in a short time. Contact with the owner is quick and hospitable. Le Chantenay is a nice address for a relaxed vacation with all amenities.

Spacious and pet-friendly! We brought our dog, and he loved the garden. The accommodation offers plenty of seating, and the dining table was perfect for our group of seven. Highly recommended for families.

We spent a wonderfully relaxing week (7 days) in this charming, quietly located manor house – and we are simply thrilled. The house impresses with its historical charm, stylish and lovingly decorated furnishings, as well as spacious rooms that offer plenty of room to feel comfortable. The location is simply dreamy: quiet and idyllic, in the middle of nature – yet we were flexible in our travels. Good shopping options in Decize: In just a few minutes by car, you can reach a small town with an excellent selection of shopping options – from well-stocked supermarkets to bakeries and charming local shops. Here we found all the supplies for breakfast, nice souvenirs, and regional products without any hassle. Bicycle rental nearby: Right on site or very close to the house, there is the possibility to rent bicycles at fair prices. That was ideal for exploring the surroundings on our own – whether for relaxed bike rides along the Loire, to picturesque villages, or to remote viewpoints. A perfect combination of movement, nature, and flexibility! Whether for relaxing, shopping, or sporty explorations – this manor simply offers everything one wishes for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed our time there very much and can recommend it without reservation. We will definitely be happy to return!
