Farmhouse in Yèvre-le-Châtel with Heated Pool

The place is fabulous: beautiful trees, a fantastic heated pool, and a very peaceful and quiet setting overall. The farmhouse itself is warm and cosy.
However, there is a major discrepancy regarding privacy. The ad explicitly states that there are no neighbours, which was our main reason for booking, as we specifically sought complete privacy. In reality, there is a large house right next to the farmhouse—omitted from the listing photos—and during our stay, the owner arrived and stayed there twice. We complained about this intrusion the first time to BelVilla. Although the owner apologised, they promptly did it again: before our last night, the owner announced he was coming over to stay yet again, which forced us to pack up, leave early, and go home.
Secondly, while the house is great, it is not perfect. The Wi-Fi is free and functional, but very slow. We also experienced a few minor issues with the drainage and lighting, though nothing major.
Overall, it is a lovely property, but potential guests looking for total solitude should be warned that the "no neighbours" claim is inaccurate and host interruptions ruined the mid and end of our stay

Fantastic stay! Jean-Marie, the owner, was incredibly hospitable. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home right away. The surroundings are beautiful and there is so much to see and discover, including the many castles and impressive forts nearby. For wine lovers, this is also a great destination, with plenty of opportunities to explore the local wines and vineyards. Those who want to combine culture and beautiful nature with peace and relaxation will absolutely find it here. We greatly enjoyed our stay and look back on our vacation with much pleasure. Definitely a recommendation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful location, tastefully decorated and equipped with all luxury. A spacious pool and lavish garden gave us a wonderful holiday. The very friendly Emmanuel and family welcomed us and helped us where needed. We would love to come back!
