Extra bed for a toddler from 0-6y in the parents' bedroom is possible.

The "Alte Försterei Wildenthal" is in an absolutely secluded location and "enthroned" above the resort of Wildenthal at the foot of the Auersberg. The historical monument in front of the Bohemian border was carefully and lovingly renovated. Today, the "house with the stag" is a charming holiday home. 5 holiday flats, each in its own right, fill the house with life. Surrounded by extensive mountain meadows and dense spruce forests, the beautiful country estate in the Ore Mountains has a flair all its own with first-class facilities.
A well thought-out self-service offers all comforts and still leaves room for your own thoughts and holiday wishes. Outside, a beautiful medieval-style outdoor seating area beckons you to take an idyllic break in the countryside. Nestled in the granite remains of an old barn, you can relax and enjoy the view of the valley and the stars in the evening. All our younger guests will feel right at home in the separate children's playhouse.
The Ore Mountains are perfect for a hiking or cycling holiday. Wonderful solitary routes in the magnificent mountain landscape of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Erzgebirge/Krusnehory" invite you to relax in the mountains. From smoking men and candle arches to mines, museums, castles and traditional miners' parades ... culturally there is something of everything. Saxony & Bohemia together form the Ore Mountains. This means cross-border holidays in Germany and the Czech Republic. So don't forget your passports and identity cards! The Czech part is still German-speaking (former Sudetenland of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy). It is literally a green border.
But the most important thing is the peace and quiet. Let your soul dangle, breathe the fresh mountain air. Let yourself drift. And be active undisturbed.
Wildenthal is located directly on the ridge hiking trail Erzgebirge / Vogtland and thus offers the best starting point for wonderful tours. The Karlsroute, the Saxon-Bohemian long-distance cycle route, also passes through the village.
Open-air bathing is possible in the neighbouring Johanngeorgenstadt natural swimming pool. Sauna lovers will find an internationally renowned wellness oasis in the Badegärten Eibenstock. You can also enjoy a private and individual sauna in your holiday home. Each guest flat has its own sauna. The Kneipp treading pool in Wildenthal provides for pleasurable "storking" directly in the village.
The nearest shopping facilities as well as post office, pharmacy and medical care are in Eibenstock and Johanngeorgenstadt.
