The Holiday home

The tastefully furnished 3½ room corner house is located approx. 1 km from the lake in a quiet and sunny location. The living space of approx. 130 m² is spread over 2 levels and offers comfortable space for up to 5 people. The attractive offer is rounded off by the generous private outdoor area consisting of a sun terrace with awning and two sun balconies. Here you can simply retreat to the secluded property and relax. The beautiful view of the lake and the mountains opposite contributes to your relaxation.
The 200 hectare nature reserve SS, which is located slightly above the house and is rich in forest, is also of great recreational value. Trinità with its numerous hiking trails, a fitness course and a restaurant. Also the mountain bikers among you get their money's worth here and can explore the varied landscape on different ways.
Should you nevertheless feel a longing for the rest of the world, a free WLAN Internet access for navigating the Internet is available to you. Free parking spaces are approx. 30 m away. House division:

Location and surroundings of object

Ghiffa (about 2,400 inhabitants) lies at the foot of Monte Cargiago and boasts many villas and lush vegetation. Five golf courses can be reached within 15 to 30 minutes by car. The area is covered by an extensive network of wonderful walking and hiking trails, and a rich offer of culture, leisure and sports activities will not leave you bored.
Close by are the renowned towns of Intra and Pallanza: Intra is famous for its market and its beautiful old town. From Intra you can take the car ferry to Laveno on the other side of the lake. Pallanza is of Romanesque origin and offers a beautiful, long lakeside promenade with inviting restaurants, cafés and shops. The botanical gardens of Villa Taranto with over 20,000 very rare plant species from all parts of the world are located on an area of 20 hectares. Otherwise you can go from Ghiffa with the shipping line to the various destinations. The internationally renowned holiday resorts and areas such as Ascona, Locarno, Stresa, the Borromeo Islands and Lake Orta are only 30 minutes away.
A real gem of Ghiffa's is the "Sacro Monte della SS. Trinità di Ghiffa", one of the new Sacred Mounts in Piedmont and Lombardy, consisting of a sanctuary that was not entirely completed and three 17th century chapels the size of a church, in which scenes from the Old and New Testaments are depicted. The complex is completed by a Way of the Cross and the chapel "Vergine Addolorata", decorated with the traditional themes of the Passion of Christ. In the following 200 ha large nature reserve there are many hiking trails, a fitness course and an idyllic restaurant with a generous outdoor area (insider tip). Guided tours of any kind through the entire area can be booked at the local tourist office. The "Holy Mountain" still has a fascinating charisma today and conveys a special atmosphere to the sensitive visitor, which in a strange way encourages one to think about oneself again and to find inner peace. From this special spot on earth you can enjoy an incredibly beautiful view of the lake and the opposite shore as well as the mountains.
