In the fully equipped kitchen you will find all the amenities you would expect from a modern accommodation: Filter coffee machine, capsule machine (Dolce Gusto), dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven (incl. hot air for quick and simultaneous preparation of various dishes), refrigerator with spacious separate freezer compartment as well as all necessary kitchen appliances and utensils.
The open dining area adjoining the kitchen can seat six people.
The living room has a cosy sofa corner (which can be converted into a comfortable sofa bed if there are more than four guests) as well as a flat-screen TV, DVD player and a compact hi-fi system.
There are two bedrooms available, one equipped with a double bed and second TV, the other with two single beds. There is sufficient storage space for your personal belongings (two-door wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet).
A modernly designed shower bathroom completes the furnishings.
Free wifi as well as books and games are available for you to borrow.

Our holiday flat is located in Bethingen, a district of Mettlach, in the district of Merzig-Wadern. The village is located in the southwest of the municipality in the valley of the Salzbach, which flows into the Saar near the Saarschleife at Dreisbach. Here you can enjoy the tranquillity of a small idyllic village. At the same time, Bethingen is the ideal starting point for your adventures in the Saarland-Lorraine-Luxembourg border triangle. France is also within easy reach.

Great stay!
A really nice holiday flat and a very friendly hostess. If you are looking for relaxation in a quiet and rural area, this is the right place. We will definitely be back!

Modern and inexpensive
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the landlady.
The flat is modern and brightly furnished. One small tip: there are no spices. This is only a small drawback.
We felt very comfortable there and can recommend this accommodation with a clear conscience.

I work as a translator from home and am therefore immediately available for questions in the neighbouring house of the holiday property. My husband, like so many people in our region, works as a "cross-border commuter" in Luxembourg. We have two daughters. The house in which the holiday home is located was built by my grandparents and completely renovated by us in 2017. The attic was converted and now offers our guests a pleasant stay in our beautiful Saarschleifenland.
