Recreation for body, mind and soul

We have been able to enjoy a little piece of paradise on earth here for a week! Here you can completely switch off, see breathtaking nature and let it have an effect on you, come to rest on the lake in a boat and just be! We are fulfilled and blessed! As a nature-loving family with joy in simplicity, this week was almost luxurious! My husband was able to let off steam by making a fire, frying self-caught fish, etc. The children learned to row and let their imagination run wild in playing with the rescue boat. And I had peace and time to lie in the sun and read two (!) books. We enjoyed the sauna, had game nights with a fireplace (in the evenings it was better to be inside than outside because of the mosquitoes), cooked delicious food, hiked through the Fulufjället National Park (highly recommended, even if the journey is a bit long), and actually appreciated not having anything to do, not every minute planned! This works very well in such an atmosphere in such beautiful nature. The lake with its surroundings, the constantly changing light is so incredibly fascinating, you can watch it for hours! We are simply happy to have had this vacation!

Pure relaxation!!

Wonderful house in a fantastic natural setting! The 4 of us (grandma was also there) hiking enthusiasts spent a relaxing and eventful time here. Our recommendation: the old Engelsberg mine (40 minutes by car) and the nearby historic oil refinery must be visited. Thanks to the Majcher family for renting the house at such short notice. We will be happy to come back next year - there is still so much to discover.

Scandinavia is our second home and we have seen a lot in the last 30 years. Nevertheless, your house in Tandadalen caught our attention in particular! You arrive and immediately feel at home!

Everything was tidy and cozy and above all, everything was in its place. No need to search for a sharp vegetable knife or an extra pillow... everything is simply there and you can tell that you make a great effort to ensure that your guests have a good time.

It was nice that we were able to meet you in person. That also made our stay very pleasant. The descriptions on the internet are realistic and you can rely on them. Hiking, cycling, nearby and distant excursions are great summer activities. In winter, skiing is added. And every time you come back, you look forward to the house.

The sauna and the fireplace complete this picture. It is remarkable to book the small annex for friends or older children - then you have the whole property to yourself. And it feels really good!
