We dedicate the Carpe Diem to the "dead poets" many of whom have been inspired by the spirit of magical places like our little sandbar. Quietly located in the center of town each room is named after a renowned writer, decorated with European antiques and décor and offers private bath, queen size bed, down comforter and pillows, bathrobes and luxury amenities. Some feature fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, private entrance and/or private patios. Our garden is a green oasis with a heated spa, which is open year round. Cozy lounge chairs invite you to some extra sun-tanning sessions. The common rooms are a great place to relax, read a good book, meet people or chat with new friends. There is a fireplace, video library, complimentary Sherry and Port and a 24-hour coffee station for your comfort as well as a guest office for those that need to stay connected to the "real" world. A magical place on the edge of the continent!
