We are just 200m from a restaurant/bar. We are 10 minutes from the A28 Alencon, close to the Alpes Mancelles, perfect for exploring Lower Normandy et the Upper Sarthe/Pays de la Loire. On site – fishing, tennis, boules, biking, hiking. Nearby – horseriding, golf, canoë-kayak, medieval villages, chateaux, gardens.

The guest house is at Ancinnes, just 10 minutes from Alençon, on the edge of the Forest of Perseigne. Ancinnes has a restaurant/bar (La Boule d'Or) and sports facilities. We have many activities on site or nearby - fishing, tennis, walking, cycling, horseriding, quads, conoes, etc.

Alençon's pretty, cobbled streets, stylish gift shops, wonderful chocolatiers, markets (Thursday and Saturday) and parks should not be missed. You can follow a discovery route from the Office de Tourisme, which is housed in the lovely 'Maison d'Ozé' close to the spectacular gothic Church of Our Lady. Alençon lace with it's unique technique has been admired since the 17th century - visit the Museum of Fine Art to find out how it is made. The Jesuit church houses a massive library including over 700 manuscripts, many from the Middle Ages, with exhibitions throughout the year. Also visit the house where St Theresa was born and spent her childhood - an exhibition shows her life story. You will also find plenty of restaurants, cafés, bars and bistros in Alençon!
