we will definitely come back. We really enjoyed our short vacation and felt very comfortable in the apartment. Everything in the kitchen, from the oven to the dishwasher, was well-equipped with plenty of dishes. Thank you for the welcome coffee!!! :) You were always helpful and very friendly with advice and support. Skiing with "Sigi" was great. Thank you for that.

this was our first time in the Haus Dreer flat and it was simply wonderful. The hosts are very helpful, very friendly and always helpful. We really liked the skiing behind the house and also the Hanenkamm. Is not such a big crowd.
The flat was very clean and that was very important to us from the beginning and you had the feeling we were at home. We slept very well and the view was magnificent. We will gladly come again.

Family Dreer, thank you very much for the wonderful apartment. It was very clean, nicely furnished (balcony), and we enjoyed looking out the window to the small ski slope in the morning. The location is by the forest and there are no neighbours. Höfen has two ski areas - the small one behind the house and the big one "Hahnenkamm". Not many people, still quiet and we will be back. It was a lovely week with you - thank you your D.P.

How do I come to Lechtal?

Your journey to the Lechtal

You can easily reach your comfortable holiday home in the Lechtal by train, bus, plane or your own car. From Ulm, take the A7 motorway and continue into the Außerfern area via Reutte or Weißenbach. From Switzerland, take the A1 motorway and the B198 federal road from Warth. In summer, the S16 can be used via Langen. If you would like to travel by train to your affordable private holiday apartment, use the nearby train stations in Reutte and Füssen. From there, you have good connections to the international train stations in Imst, Garmisch, Innsbruck or Munich. Airports are located 80 to 130 kilometers away in Memmingen, Innsbruck, Altenrhein and Friedrichshafen. Book a comfortably furnished holiday accommodation or apartment in the beautiful holiday region full of possibilities for cycling and nature walks along the Lech River in Forchach, Austria. The Lech is a right tributary of the Danube.

How is the weather in the Lech Valley?

In the Lechtal in Tyrol, you can expect a north-alpine valley climate in the nature park region. Weather fronts and wind can penetrate more easily here than in the inner-alpine valleys. Due to the barrier effect in the northwest direction, high precipitation amounts are the norm. On average, over 1300 mm of precipitation falls per year. This comes in the form of snow in the cold season, making the area a popular winter sports location. The average temperature of -3 °C to -7 °C in the months of December to February fits this well. Frost can still occur beyond this time. Please note in winter that snow chains may be required for certain areas and some roads may be impassable. The months of May to October are suitable for a hiking holiday in the Lechtal. During this travel period, an average of 80 to 180 mm of precipitation falls per month in this region of the Alps, but it is much warmer and the sun provides average temperatures of around 10 °C to 15 °C.

The track is considered one of the steepest in the Alps and provides a proper thrill with steep curves and jumps. You can also experience this thrill on a rafting tour on a wild river. The ski areas Warth and Schröcken are also beautiful. You can also undertake a Lechtal crossing on one of the long-distance hiking trails, for example from Imst to St. Christoph - pure active relaxation!
