The Ilse and the mountains beckon and inside a brick fireplace, a Finnish dry sauna, unique furniture made of reclaimed old wood, down-to-earth natural materials such as stone, skins and solid brushed larch wood.
The chalet has 2 generously furnished bedrooms with double beds, 2 exclusive bathrooms with underfloor heating, towel radiators and natural stone washbasins, sauna, a rustic living and dining area with a brick fireplace for cosy hours and a covered wooden terrace with comfortable wooden furniture and terrace heating, as well as a covered balcony accessible from the bedrooms.
In the outdoor area you will find an outlet to the Ilse River, which runs around the property, as well as a barbecue area with a fire bowl and grill.

Wunderschönes Chalet
The Ilse Chalet was very, very nice, a great accommodation with a beautiful view from the balcony. Everything is very clean and well-equipped. Always happy to come back!

Beautiful holiday home.
Our house was directly located on the Ilse, it was very high quality, lovingly and individually furnished. The equipment is well thought out and cozy, there are corners to cuddle and read, to have a cozy meal or to put your feet up after hiking. The sound of the Ilse calms down, the fur and blankets everywhere in the house, combined with modern, warm colors, make you forget all the efforts. Worth every penny, a vacation home for children (games! 7-dwarf beds! Pointed hats) and spoiled ones (rain shower, stone and wooden walls, natural plaster, individually made carpenter's furniture). In addition, a very, very friendly and open-minded couple of owners. Thank you! We would love to come back.

Everything is great
A very excellent holiday apartment / house! We felt at home in the rooms, which are furnished with great attention to detail and absolutely upscale. Also super child-friendly. Location is great! Hygiene and cleanliness could not have been better. We will gladly come back!

Wonderful!
Wonderful house that invites you to come back. Very well-maintained, clean, and top-equipped. Great quiet location right on the Ilse. We were there with a baby and a toddler, and all needs were met. Especially worth mentioning is the truly family-like atmosphere and the great hosts, with a lot of love for detail. Will definitely come back!

Dreamlike holiday apartment with a stunning view.
We were as a large family over Christmas and New Year in Ilsenburg (7 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby, and 1 dog) and had booked the Castle Chalet together with the Ilse Chalet. Both chalets are wonderfully cozy and furnished with high-quality materials. We had plenty of space for all of us and felt very comfortable. Especially the evenings by the fireplace were very cozy. The location right at the entrance of the Ilse Valley is ideal as a starting point for adventurous hikes in the Harz Mountains. A big compliment to the landlords for such a great holiday property and many thanks for the friendliness and helpfulness at all times. Absolutely recommendable!

Very good
My husband and I, along with our dog, spent very relaxing days here. The Ilse Chalet, especially the bathrooms, are a dream. Vacation from the first day in Ilsenburg. Mrs. Helbig welcomed us very friendly. We are looking forward to the next vacation at Ilse Chalet.
