The Ilse and the mountains beckon and inside a brick fireplace, a Finnish dry sauna, unique furniture made of reclaimed old wood, down-to-earth natural materials such as stone, skins and solid brushed larch wood.
The chalet has 4 generously furnished bedrooms with double beds, 2 exclusive bathrooms with underfloor heating, towel radiators and natural stone washbasins, its own sauna, a rustic living and dining area with a brick fireplace for cosy hours and a covered wooden terrace with comfortable wooden furniture and terrace heating.
In the outdoor area you will find an outlet to the Ilse River, which runs around the property, as well as a barbecue area with a fire bowl and grill.

You can reach the town centre and the hiking trails quickly and easily, which start approx. 200 m from the chalet. Our sports chalet with its rustic and traditional ambience, sauna and fireplace, is situated in a dreamlike, quiet location facing the beautiful Ilse Valley.

Ilse Valley: Through the beautiful Ilse Valley along the "Heinrich Heine Hiking Trail", the most beautiful Brocken ascent in the Brocken region

The perfect holiday home!
This holiday home is really perfect in my eyes. From the furnishings, which were chosen with great attention to detail, to the equipment, which really lacks nothing, to the location and the outdoor area with fire bowl, barbecue and the exemplary well-kept lawn. The 5 stars are more than deserved and we will be happy to come back.

Exceptionally charming, high-quality equipment
The Sport Chalet in Ilsenburg is a top address for those who value a stylishly furnished vacation home. The landlords have created something truly exceptional here. The Sport Chalet is furnished in alpine country house style. High-quality materials were used for the furnishings (floor tiles, plank flooring, furniture), so the house truly deserves its 5 stars. It, as well as the outdoor facilities, make a very well-kept impression. You can feel at every corner that the landlords are passionate about what they do. The charming details about "sports" in the Sport Chalet are particularly charming - such as a bathroom shelf built from a sled or a floor lamp that illuminates old skis. We (six friends) felt very comfortable. In this house (with sauna and fireplace), you can also spend rainy days wonderfully cozy. In summer, you can cool your feet, exhausted from hiking, in the Ilse right behind the house. There is a slight deduction in terms of price/performance or service for the lack of bread delivery service (which is actually common in houses of this price level) and for the relatively strict payment conditions (total price is due four weeks before the start of the trip, electricity and water cost extra).

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in Ilsenburg
We spent a week in this beautiful holiday home with five adults and three small children. Even if the weather is not so nice, you feel comfortable here. The rooms are spacious and the furnishings are a balanced mix of rustic and modern. The entire equipment is detailed and very tasteful. The location is also great, with the Ilse river right next to it, perfect for hiking.

Stilvoll und geräumig
This is a very lovingly and high-quality furnished house in a very beautiful environment. Each room has space, really good beds, a very neat, nice wardrobe AND in addition a spacious chest of drawers with many drawers. Even in the bathroom, there is enough space to leave your belongings. The only flaw for us: all the towels are the same color (pretty but impractical), the living-dining room is quite dark (due to the covered terrace and the opposite hill) and the light in the living room was too dim for reading, and the Wi-Fi was quite weak. However, there is a nice space for dining, even when guests come, and there is enough tableware, etc. available. Sauna after hiking to Brocken was very pleasant. Everything is of high quality. Very friendly landlady!
