Away from the main stream of tourist traffic, in the middle of woods, fields and nature at its best, La Casina is an ideal place to recapture lost peace and quiet. The house is cocooned in a pleasant, peaceful garden dotted with fruit trees that create plenty of shade when you need to escape the sun. As for the pool (5x10 m. Available from May to October), that's in a bright, open spot, with a paved terrace around it, so there's plenty of space for sunbathing too.
Meanwhile, all along one side of the house is a lovely terrace with a covered pergola at one end. It makes a lovely spot for al fresco dining.
Inside, the rooms are fresh and airy, with cool tiled floors and tall, beamed ceilings. There is a substantial feel to the furnishings, while a handsome bricked archway leads from the bright kitchen to the pleasant lounge-dining room.
San Dalmazio (grocery store, restaurants, bars and post office) is only 3 km away from the property, while Pomarance (all kind of shops and services) 12 km, Volterra 30 km, Cecina 40 km, Siena 60 km , Pisa 90 km, Florence 95. Access to the property through a comfortable asphalt country road.
