Göhren, one of the 5 Baltic Sea resorts on our beautiful island of Rügen, is located in the south-east, between the Baltic Sea resorts of Baabe and Thiessow.
You are making the right decision with a stay in the Baltic Sea resort of Göhren. Our coastal forest, elongated hilly landscapes with great views invite you to linger. You will learn to love the amber promenade and the pier, a well-kept, fine-sand beach, again this year with the best water quality, as well as the unique South-East Rügen biosphere reserve.
You can swim or walk extensively on the long stretch of beach.
The Rasende Roland, our narrow-gauge railway, has the final stop on the route there. It runs from Göhren via
Baabe, Sellin, Binz and Putbus - the "White City of Rügen" and former royal residence - to the port of Lauterbach.
Lauterbach is a former fishing village on the Bodden.
We will be happy to tell you about other excursion destinations on site.
