The region around Lake Dümmer is not only a wonderful recreational area but is also strategically located for excursions to Schwerin, Wismar or Ludwigslust. Wittenburg is about 10 km away with its indoor ski hall, quad track and a great adventure playground. For children, there is an adventure nature trail only 500 m from the holiday home.

For a bicycle tour on the well-developed cycle paths of the region, you can rent bicycles directly from us.
In the village you will find a children's playground, a bakery with Sunday opening hours and an event barn where you can also celebrate your wedding.
The Alpincenter in Wittenburg (12km) is also easy to reach by bike. There you will find leisure facilities such as skiing and snowboarding, tobogganing, a go-kart and quad track, a high ropes course with adventure playground, as well as beach volleyball courts and various gastronomic facilities.
In Zachun (20km) you can also use the possibility of a water ski facility.
Our beautiful state capital - the 'City of the Seven Lakes', offers you a wide range of entertainment and culture. To get to know the city, we recommend a city tour with the 'Petermännchenexpress' and a trip with the 'White Fleet' on Lake Schwerin.
The historic old town with its castle, theatre and museums is also worth seeing.

The time the withdrawal declaration is received by the landlord is decisive. b) If the tenant withdraws from the lease, they must compensate the landlord for the expenses already incurred and the lost profit in the following amounts: Withdrawal up to the 45th day before the commencement of the rental period: 20% (but at least 25 EURO) Withdrawal up to the 35th day before the commencement of the rental period: 50% Thereafter and in case of no-show: 100% c) The tenant is entitled to prove that no damage or significantly less damage occurred to the landlord. d) Upon withdrawal from the contract, the tenant may nominate a substitute tenant who is willing to enter into the existing contractual relationship in their place. The landlord may refuse the entry of the third party if they appear economically or personally unreliable. If a third party enters into the lease agreement, they and the previous tenant are jointly and severally liable to the landlord for the rent and the additional costs incurred by the entry of the third party. The tenant is recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance.

Holiday for the soul.
In search of a vacation rental for Easter break, we came across the holiday village at Dümmer See. Upon seeing the photos, it was clear to us... we had to go there.
Quickly, we rented this beautiful holiday home through Mr. Scholz.
We can only say... arrive... unpack and feel at home.
The holiday home is tastefully and modernly furnished, nothing is missing. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the perfect place. The contact with the landlord, Mr. Scholz, was also very pleasant.

Beautiful!
Very cozy house, everything new and clean, absolutely quiet location just a few meters from the lake. Perhaps a bit tight for the specified 6 people, but the four of us felt completely comfortable. Crystal-clear lake, quiet private beach, nice atmosphere. Thank you for the lovely holiday, we will definitely come back!

Pure relaxation
If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you. We had pure relaxation. Bathing and cycling is very possible. The house is super equipped and in our opinion very new. We had the impression that we were the first guests. Everything is fine and highly recommended. Gladly again
