Location and surroundings of object
The region around Lake Dümmer is not only a wonderful recreational area but is also strategically located for excursions to Schwerin, Wismar or Ludwigslust. Wittenburg is about 10 km away with its indoor ski hall, quad track and a great adventure playground. For children, there is an adventure nature trail only 500 m from the holiday home.

For a bicycle tour on the well-developed cycle paths of the region, you can rent bicycles directly from us.
In the village you will find a children's playground, a bakery with Sunday opening hours and an event barn where you can also celebrate your wedding.
The Alpincenter in Wittenburg (12km) is also easy to reach by bike. There you will find leisure facilities such as skiing and snowboarding, tobogganing, a go-kart and quad track, a high ropes course with adventure playground, as well as beach volleyball courts and various gastronomic facilities.
In Zachun (20km) you can also use the possibility of a water ski facility.
Our beautiful state capital - the 'City of the Seven Lakes', offers you a wide range of entertainment and culture. To get to know the city, we recommend a city tour with the 'Petermännchenexpress' and a trip with the 'White Fleet' on Lake Schwerin.
The historic old town with its castle, theatre and museums is also worth seeing.
Fancy a spot of shopping? No problem, Schwerin's city centre offers you a wide range of shopping opportunities. Have fun exploring.
The Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg and the Hanseatic cities of Wismar, Lübeck and Hamburg can be reached in about 1 hour.

Cancellation terms:
- Rücktritt durch den Mieter a) Der Mieter kann vor Beginn der Mietzeit durch schriftliche Erklärung gegenüber dem Vermieter vom Mietvertrag zurücktreten. Maßgeblich ist der Zeitpunkt des Zugangs der Rücktrittserklärung beim Vermieter. b) Tritt der Mieter vom Mietvertrag zurück, so hat er pauschalen Ersatz für die beim Vermieter bereits entstandenen Aufwendungen und den entgangenen Gewinn in der nachfolgenden Höhe zu leisten: Rücktritt bis zum 45. Tag vor Beginn der Mietzeit: 20 % (mindestens jedoch 25 EURO) Rücktritt bis zum 35. Tag vor Beginn der Mietzeit: 50% danach und bei Nichterscheinen: 100% c) Dem Mieter bleibt der Nachweis vorbehalten, dass bei dem Vermieter kein oder ein wesentlich geringerer Schaden entstanden ist. d) Der Mieter kann bei Rücktritt vom Vertrag einen Ersatzmieter benennen, der bereit ist, an seiner Stelle in das bestehende Vertragsverhältnis einzutreten. Der Vermieter kann dem Eintritt des Dritten widersprechen, wenn dieser wirtschaftlich oder persönlich unzuverlässig erscheint. Tritt ein Dritter in den Mietvertrag ein, so haften er und der bisherige Mieter dem Vermieter als Gesamtschuldner für den Mietpreis und die durch den Eintritt des Dritten entstehenden Mehrkosten. Der Abschluss einer Reiserücktrittsversicherung wird dem Mieter empfohlen.

Urlaub für die Seele
Auf der Suche nach einer Ferienunterkunft für die Osterferien sind wir auf das Feriendorf am Dümmer See gestoßen. Beim Anschauen der Bilder war für uns klar.... da müssen wir hin.
Kurzer Hand haben wir über Herrn Scholz dieses wunderschöne Ferienhaus gemietet.
Wir können nur sagen ... ankommen ... auspacken und wohlfühlen.
Das Ferienhaus ist geschmackvoll und modern ausgestattet, es fehlt an Nichts.
Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben auch der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter Herrn Scholz war sehr angenehm.

Wunderschön!
Sehr gemütliches Haus, alles neu und sauber, absolut ruhige Lage nur ein paar Meter vom See. Für die angegebenen 6 Personen vielleicht ein bisschen eng, aber zu viert haben wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Glasklarer See, ruhiger Privatstrand, nettes Ambiente. Danke für den schönen Urlaub, wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Pure relaxation
If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you. We had pure relaxation. Bathing and cycling is very possible. The house is super equipped and in our opinion very new. We had the impression that we were the first guests. Everything is fine and highly recommended. Gladly again
