Our residences Villa Linde and Villa Eintracht are centrally located in Göhren and only a few steps away from the nearby shops, restaurants, cafes and spa facilities. The inviting north beach, whose promenade leads all the way to the Baltic resort of Baabe, is just a few minutes' walk away. In our residences you will find 20 comfortable and fully equipped holiday flats for up to 4 people, each with 1 bedroom, 1 living/bedroom with comfortable double sofa bed, separate dining area, fully equipped fitted kitchen with dishwasher, shower/WC and large furnished balconies and terraces. Strolling through the streets and alleys with all the magnificent villas in classic seaside resort architecture, it is hard to believe that this place was a fishing village just 120 years ago. But as soon as the first summer guests fell under the fascination of the landscape and unspoilt beaches, Göhren developed into a recognised Baltic Sea resort and international health resort.
Beach chairs, a spa park and a pier now dominate the image. Especially the concerts in the music pavilion became a much-loved diversion for guests and locals alike. Another relic of that time is the Roland train. Once the only means of transport apart from carriages and the final stop for all travellers in Göhren, it still steams reliably through the landscape - not only for the pleasure of railway enthusiasts, but especially now again as a welcome alternative to the car. Famous personalities such as Prof. Dr. Albert Schweitzer, Lyonel Feininger, Gerhart Hauptmann, Caspar David Friedrich, Hans Albers, Heinz Rühmann, Zarah Leander and Adolph Menzel spent their holidays here. Since the arrival of the first holidaymakers and spa guests, the way of bathing, living and spending leisure time have of course changed - what has remained are the wishes for relaxing days, intact nature and stimulating experiences.
