The holiday home is approx. 60 sqm and offers space for 4 people. The terraced house was renovated in 2019 and has a living-dining room area on the ground floor with an open kitchen and an unobstructed view of the garden
For your entertainment, there is a flat screen TV, a music system with CD player, a DVD player and a small selection of books and board games
The open kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic hob (incl. oven and extractor bonnet), a dishwasher, a microwave and a fridge (incl. freezer).
Upstairs there are two bedrooms (one with a second TV). For young families, a travel cot and a high chair are available.
A washing machine is available and is operated with 1€ coins.
There is also a barbecue on the furnished terrace.

Location and surroundings of object
Neßmersiel is a small seaside resort on the East Frisian North Sea coast. Along the coast runs the Störtebekerstraße, which is named after Klaus Störtebeker, who sailed here with his ship. The village itself is protected by dikes and lies on the Dutch Wadden Sea National Park (World Heritage Site). In the village there is a small supermarket, a restaurant, bicycle rental, fishing possibilities and a paddling station. Holidaymakers do not have to do without a sandy beach of approx. 25000 sqm (with beach chairs, beach playground and restaurant with sun terrace).
Walkers along the dyke can enjoy a unique panorama with views of the islands of Baltrum, Norderney and Langeoog. Neßmersiel is an ideal seaside resort for family holidays with children or for holidaymakers with a dog. A starting point for mudflat walks to the islands of Baltrum and Norderney is the ferry port, about 1.5 km away. Children can explore the mudflats, build sandcastles on the beach, let off steam in the playground or visit seals.
In bad weather, children aged 3-15 can let off steam in the 3000 sqm Sturmfrei indoor play park. For adults, Sturmfrei offers the "Heimatstube" (captain's room and old-time shop). A wellness area is also available for them here.
Swimming and bathing is also possible in the wave pool in Norddeich, in the heated seawater outdoor pool in Dornu and in the wellness pool 'Sonneninsel' in Bernensiel.

Great accommodation
This townhouse offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We felt completely comfortable. On the newly covered terrace, you can sit even during a rain shower. We can truly recommend the house.

Schönes Reihenhaus
We have been to Neßmersiel several times. This time only three of us, so a smaller house. There is nothing to complain about. Cleanliness top, key handover uncomplicated, beautiful small garden. Very cozy for us three. It would be perfect with a dryer because it often rains, so half a star less for the equipment.
There are very nice toys in the children's room. Our little one was thrilled.
We will definitely come back :-)

Urlaub mit Kindern
We were in this house for the first time and we really liked it there. Everything you need for a vacation with children is available. Everything neat and above all clean. A small playground is just a few meters away and a larger playground is about a 10-minute walk; our children were thrilled :-)
The town is very suitable for families, also because of the indoor playground. Unfortunately, we couldn't use it at the moment due to the corona regulations. We informed ourselves beforehand and had already been there once 6 years ago, so we knew that it is not a place with a lot of hustle and bustle and there is no pub, bar, or sights nearby, and that you have to drive to the beach if you are not good on foot. . . . . not like it is written in the reviews here. The landlords can't help it if the guest doesn't like the place!
However, we did have a small dissatisfaction, namely with the management. She was somehow stressed at the time and didn't respond to our request. Unfortunately, she did not address our concern, even though it was urgent. Too bad. We are very satisfied with the landlady and had a pleasant contact. The issue with the final cleaning and tourist tax to be paid on-site was also resolved and updated in the description. So, we had a nice vacation there and would love to come back. Best regards from the Lower Rhine.

I had problems in this house from the beginning. I think there must have been a cat in this house before, as I have a cat allergy. As soon as I was in the house, my eyes started to tear and my nose started to itch, almost unbearable. When we arrived, we had to pay 114 euros for final cleaning and tourist tax right away. In the second week, two women with two dogs came to the neighboring house, and the dogs barked all day long. There is nothing going on in that place, you have to drive 30-40 kilometers, which is not the point. The beach is ridiculous. We have been to Hooksiel 3 times, which was a thousand times better. I would recommend the house, very nice and comfortable beds. But I would not recommend the place.

Great holiday!
The holiday was nice, the weather was good and even when it rained you could still do many things. There were many possibilities such as mudflat walks or visiting an island or looking at seals. The house was cosy and the equipment is great. We will definitely recommend the house to others.

Top holiday flat!!!
This summer we - a family of four - stayed in this holiday home for the second time. As usual, the accommodation was in the best condition. Everything was very clean and very comfortably furnished. Since the weather cooperated this time as well, we spent most of the time without excursions in the garden and had a good barbecue. All in all, I can highly recommend this holiday home. The excursion and leisure options are also ideal for a family holiday. We would definitely like to come back!

Beautiful vacation
The house offers a carefree and relaxing vacation. The landlords are nice and friendly, and the house is clean and well-furnished. You can relax outside in the garden. We will definitely come back here again.

The house had great amenities, almost like home.
We were very satisfied with the Drosselnest house, everything is available. The beds were very comfortable. It took a half-hour walk to the beach. Because two bicycles are available, we always cycled there. We will definitely come back and can recommend this house.

Not completely satisfied.
Positive:
- The pictures correspond to the actual conditions on site.
- The beds are very comfortable.
- The location is good.
- The house was very clean.
Negative:
- The kitchen utensils are lacking.
- The lock on the front door was broken.
- The roller blind in the children's room was broken.
- The washing machine runs for one Euro as advertised, but it was not mentioned that it only runs for 50 minutes. We found out about it after we couldn't get our laundry out of the machine. When you then look for it, you see on a single sticker that there is something about 50 minutes being washed away.
- The dishes were not clean, which is no wonder, as the machine does not clean them properly.
- The wall to the house next door is so thin that acoustically we spent time with a family with constantly screaming children. In the morning, it felt like they were sitting at the breakfast table with us.
- Even though there is WiFi, it doesn't reach the attic room and is only of limited use. Browsing a bit and checking emails is possible, but not much more. The landlord turned off everything else. You can't even access TV programs on the television. It's very annoying when you specifically look for a house with internet because you have to work during your vacation. The landlord did not provide any help for this. The response was simply that it's not possible and you could have asked more about it before booking. We find the value for money not entirely justified due to the reasons mentioned above.

A beautiful holiday home, very stylishly furnished.
Everything was just right here! In June, we stayed with two adults and two children and discovered this beautiful holiday home for ourselves. The house is very tastefully furnished and offers every conceivable comfort. The landlords are very friendly and accommodating. The quiet location and very good amenities are particularly noteworthy. Everything is there that you need for a carefree vacation. Just great! We will gladly come back!

Holiday with feel-good factor
Very nice and cozy terraced house with a small terrace and garden (including garden furniture, sunshade, bench, grill). The house absolutely corresponds to the description in the ad, everything you need in a holiday home is available. The area is very quiet and well suited for long walks. The dike and the harbor are very close - from the harbor you can directly take the ferry to Baltrum (at low tide you can also walk there ;)). A grocery store and a bakery can be quickly reached by bike or on foot. If you want some variety, many interesting places like Greetsiel, Neuharlingersiel, Norddeich (with a seal rescue center), among others, are very close by.
