Lawn for sunbathing, own parking space at the house, approx. 300 m to the shopping facilities in Breege (real-Inselmarkt), Netto in Altenkirchen approx. 2 km away, bakery and restaurants (with breakfast) in the immediate vicinity, from the harbour approx. 500 m away, excursions by ship to the island of Hiddensee and to the Störtebeker Festival are possible, sailing school, optimal cycling and hiking possibilities to explore the island, pets not welcome

Location and surroundings of object
Here, on the sunny peninsula of Wittow, Rügen is supposed to be the most beautiful. At least that's what many people from Rügen and holidaymakers who come here again and again claim.
Away from the hustle and bustle and mass tourism, with overcrowded beaches, you will spend a beautiful and relaxing holiday here, in a landscape that is almost left to nature. The seaside resort of Breege/Juliusruh, between the Bodden and the Baltic Sea, offers an eventful stay that will not only be remembered by children.
In Breege you can still see the history of the old fishing village. The harbour and the old captain's houses are witnesses of this era.
One of the most beautiful Baltic Sea beaches lies along the Schaabe. The wide, fine-sand beach is white and has a gently sloping shore - ideal for small children and non-swimmers.
With a beach length of about 9 km, you will find enough quiet sections for sunbathing and, of course, swimming.
The water quality is absolutely top. It meets all requirements.
The lifeguard service at Juliusruh beach ensures safety during the bathing season.
The sunset on the Baltic Sea and over land is always a great spectacle.
When exploring the coastal landscape, with its high coast, you still come across unspoilt beaches. You get the impression of being transported back to prehistoric times - after the Ice Age.

We were tenants of this property from 23.06.18 - 06.07.18. The size is sufficient for 2 people. Good location, in 5 min. you are at the harbour of Breege and just across the street you can reach the Real Inselmarkt to buy some small things. We drove to the beach (Juliusruh) by car
There is a volunteer fire brigade right next to the property, but we didn't really notice it. On Wednesdays at 6 pm there was a test alarm. Once in the evening there was a real alarm where they had to go out
The couch in the living room can be folded out but is not really comfortable to sleep on (we slept there for a few days because 2 family members arrived on 30.06.18).
We were very satisfied with the flat. However, a few details should be improved. Unfortunately there is only a 2 plate cooker, which makes it difficult to put a pan (self-bought) and a pot on it at the same time and to cook a snack.

- no broom/vacuum cleaner to clean in between
If you don't want a lot of comfort and spend your time at the beach or exploring Rügen like we did, I think you'll be fine here.
The two of us would rent this flat again!
