Our 300 year old country house has been lovingly restored - there is plenty of space in the beautiful large rooms plus garden and sun terraces.
(The 3 flats have 250 sqm of living space) The garden flat - with 100 sqm - is the focal point for meetings with families and friends. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and dishes for 12 persons. In the living room there is a long table and space for ALL !
But it also lends itself to being a family flat where you can feel comfortable even on a rainy day....
Both terrace flats ( together 150 sqm ) can also be booked as a unit ( e.g. for 2 families with children ) opposite each other on a corridor - which only belongs to these two flats -
Terrace flat ( 1 ) is a family flat , because the only bathroom can only be reached through the master bedroom ( with baby cot ) .
(This is due to the construction of the 300 year old country house) In the living room bedroom 1 box spring 2o0 x 140 and there is also - to the delight of the little ones - a bunk bed in the cosy , fully equipped eat-in kitchen. The 40 sqm roof terrace with a view of the castle, the old town and the Harz mountains gives you that "holiday feeling".
Terrace flat 2 ( 75 sqm ) completes the offer, is also well suited for 2 couples and of course as a family flat .
One bedroom with double bed and child's bed 70 x 140, extra WC and exit to the roof terrace,
1 Do-bed with privacy screen separated from the dining area of the living room / exit to the roof terrace....
The terrace does not have such a beautiful all-round view, but it is sheltered from the wind and ideal for sun-seekers .The breakfast table can be set here. The kitchen is also well equipped and awaits nice guests.
The passage room has a folding couch and armchairs for a cosy TV session.
There is 1 shower room.

Location and surroundings of object
Herzberg is a small, cosy town in the southern Harz region and ideally located as a starting point for activities.
When planning YOUR meeting, our guests look for a suitable " centre of Germany ".
This is the Harz ! with beautiful half-timbered houses - and cosy surroundings.
The Junkernstrasse is the oldest street in our village - situated between the two old churches .
The nature and bathing lake - our Juessee - can be reached on foot in 5 minutes, invites you for a walk and in summer there is a lot of bathing activity. You can also go fishing (you need a fishing licence, then you can get a day or week ticket)
The market and all shopping facilities - all discounters - are within walking distance. The bakers are also there for our guests on Sundays.
The Harz Nature Park begins on the outskirts of the village - guests who enjoy hiking will love the opportunity to climb the
" Großer Knollen, " our local mountain - or to visit the unicorn cave.

Small family celebrations can be held in our cosy country house . Often the guests arrive with home-made cakes, soups and delicacies. Then only the long table is set - whether indoors or outdoors - and in the evening the reunion is celebrated - often until late into the night.
Even the little ones find " their cot " right away and defend it ! We can't offer a playground directly at the house, but there is one just a few minutes away in the schoolyard. In Sieber, a district of Herzberg, 7 km away, there is a nature and adventure playground for the little ones.
There is also a swimming pool with a sunbathing lawn right next to it. If you don't like that either, you can go for a wonderful walk on the forest paths in Sieber.
Then the evening :
The Italian restaurant on the corner is 5 minutes away from the house - here you can also sit comfortably with a glass of wine or order one.
If you want to order sandwiches, no problem , choose and order on the internet. We will be happy to advise you !
I think the thing with the order - and only 2 families meet - sits us still long in the limbs and cook and grill yourself makes again joy ! The kitchens are well equipped ! What is missing, we deliver to....

Very nice holiday home
We had a very nice weekend, although it often rained.
Very large and comfortable holiday home, suitable for large families with children. You can also barbecue in the garden. The house has everything you need. Very nice landlords. There are many shopping opportunities nearby. The city is really beautiful, there is a lot to see. Very satisfied. Thank you very much.

Ideal for families and groups.
We spent a long weekend with 8 adults and 6 children at the Landhaus Stolper. The house is very suitable for families and larger groups. We appreciated the garden, the large communal area, and the individual apartments very much. The hosts are extremely friendly. Thank you for the beautiful days in Herzberg.

Whitsun Family Reunion
We, 12 adults and 4 children, spent a very nice Whitsun weekend in the Stolper family's country house. Central yet quiet location, very well equipped with everything you need and very clean. Due to the different flats, there was enough space for everyone. We were able to use the barbecue in the garden and set up a long table with the seating, simply wonderful, especially as the weather was fine.
Mrs. and Mr. Stolper are very nice hosts, interested that their guests are well.
We wish them all the best, good health and many more satisfied guests.

Corona hat es nicht zugelassen 2021 .Sie haben die Tage aber auch sehr gut genutzt mit vielen Aktivitäten .Was uns besonders gut gefallen hat , dass es in kleinen Familien- Gruppen Ausflüge gab ! Gemeinsames Frühstück und dann abends die gemütliche Runde - ideal !

relaxed family vacation
We had a wonderful time at Landhaus Stolper with 10 adults and 6 children (aged 1-8). The children could run around the house and do many things together, we could all eat together and spend the evenings in different groups. The apartments are significantly better equipped than what you would expect from other vacation rentals. Mrs. and Mr. Stolper are warm and dedicated hosts, very accommodating and flexible.
Within walking distance from the apartment, all everyday needs can be taken care of, and in the surrounding area there are activities for every taste and age - from playgrounds to hikes, swimming pools, charming towns (e.g. Duderstadt), nature...

Wenn es unseren Gäste - Familien mit Goßeltern, Eltern und Kindern auch bei Herbstwetter gefällt, dann freuen wir uns. Als unsere Kinder klein waren, war diese Zeit immer sehr spannend ,es wurde viel unternommen und das " Nachhausekommen " wurde gemütlich gestaltet.Es gab Bratäpfel und auch Fondue war sehr beliebt .Den kleinen Gästen macht es Freude von einer Wohnung zur anderen zu toben und dann hallt lautes Juchen durchs Haus. Unser Sohn kam uns gerade besuchen und meinte , wie schön - das ist bei euch ja wie früher ! Ab Mitte des neuen Jahres 2022 stehen nur noch 3 Wohnungen zur Verfügung .Eine ,wie gehabt, als Mittelpunkt des Treffens und beide Terrassenwohnungen.

Easter with friends
We spent Easter as usual with friends (10 adults + 4 children) in great weather. We felt very comfortable in the holiday home, nothing was missing: great equipment of the apartments, very clean. There was also plenty of space outside, for example for a joint dinner.
For us, it was very important to have enough space to have breakfast together.
We are hikers, so the great weather drove us into nature. The trails were also accessible without a car.
A big thank you to the Stolper family, who greeted us warmly and were very helpful.
Our clear recommendation for a holiday in the South Harz.

Wanderwetter war bestellt, wir haben geliefert ! Nicht zu warm, vielleicht etwas zu viel Wind ,aber im Wald war das wohl kein Problem. Schön, dass wenigstens im Haus bei der Ausstattung nichts gefehlt hat. Die plötzlich einsetzende " Sommertemperatur" hat uns bei der Aufbereitung des Garten ( Grill ) etwas überrascht, zum Glück konnten wir nachbessern.
Wir freuen uns, wenn bei den Familien auch 2019 viele schöne Stunden in Erinnerung bleiben. Schicken alle guten Wünsche nach Leipzig und grüßen aus dem Harz,

Pentecost Meeting 2018
We spent 3 wonderful days at Landhaus Stolper with 18 people over Whitsun in sunny weather. Mrs. Stolper's welcome was warm and she provided us with many useful tips and hints. All 4 flats offered enough space, were clean and very quiet.
The fresh bakery rolls (the bakery was close by) and the home-made evening meal we could all have together at a long table in flat 4. But also in the garden, there was absolutely no space problem for our large group at the barbecue, because there were enough tables and chairs. The kitchens are all very well equipped. There is enough crockery and cutlery
The country house is also ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, because you can always find a quiet spot in the house or garden. But we didn't just want to eat, we also wanted to be a little active. The central location of the country house allowed us short distances to the centre as well as hiking possibilities.
So the accommodation was the perfect place for our joint meeting to feel good and recharge our batteries. We will definitely be back.

Pfingstdienstag bedanken sich die Schausteller des Herzberger Schützenfestes bei ihren Gästen und Kunden mit einem großen Feuerwerk. Es wird hinter dem Schloß gezündet und erfreut Jung und Alt.( von unsere Terrasse aus kann man es genießen) Leider ist für unsere Gäste der Kurzurlaub schon immer einen Tag früher zuende , aber in diesem Jahr war herrliches Wanderwetter und auch das gemütliche Miteinander im Garten kam nicht zu kurz. Wenn sich unsere Gäste darauf einlassen, eine kurze Strecke bis zu den nahegelegenen Ausflugszielen zu fahren, werden sie nicht entttäuscht. Zum Beispiel das Karstgebiet bei Düna - mit erstaunlichen Einblicken in die Natur, Rundwanderwege um die Oberharzer Seen, Talsperren mit Rundwegen , Waldspielplätze mit Riesenrutsche, Schwimmbäder- und Teiche. Mit der Gondeln auf den Wurmberg und zurück mit Rieserollern -oder auch zu Fuß ins Tal ?
Wir geben gerne unsere , und die Erfahrungen unserer Gäste weiter .

Absolut empfehlenswert für Gruppen/Familien
Wir hatten ein Familientreffen mit 18 Personen (2 bis 45 Jahre) - es fehlte an NICHTS. Kinderstühle, viele Kleinkinder und Kinderbetten, tolle Aufteilung aller Räume, sauber, Platz ohne Ende. Für Alle ein tolles Erlebnis in toller Atmosphäre. Frau und Herr Stolper herzlich-freundlich unkompliziert und hilfsbereit! Ganz wunderbare Menschen. Absolut zu empfehlen für größere Treffen mit Freunden oder Familie. Schöne Ausflugsziele - zu Fuß 15 gemütliche Minuten zum Welfenschloss, 30 Minuten mit dem Auto zum Ski- und Wandergebiet Braunlage! Lidl/REWE/Getränkemarkt/Tankstelle in ganz kurzer Entfernung!

Schöne Unterkunft für Gruppen
Wir verlebten mit 8 Personen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber trotzdem zurückhaltend. Die Ausstattung ließ an nichts fehlen, besonders die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Durch das große Wohnzimmer in Wohnung Nr. 2 konnte man bequem zusammensitzen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gaststätten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Alles in allem ist die Wohnung für mehrere Personen empfehlenswert.

Die neue Saison beginnt, alle Wohneinheiten stehen auf dem Prüfstand ! Wände und Möbel werden mit frischen Farben liebevoll gestaltet. " Der praktische IKEA-STIL" passt nicht in unser 300 Jahre altes Landhaus ) Wir setzten mit viel Liebe zum Detail auf " Vintage " malen, tischlern und gestalten.
Die Kinder dürfen das Haus erobern und finden viele Ecken fürs Versteckspiel .
Für Aktivitäten , Ausflüge und Besichtigungen ist Herzberg und unser Haus ein idealer Ausgangspunkt . Das freistehende Haus -ist absolut ruhig im Altdbereich gelegen.
Wir freuen uns auf einen schönen Sommer, dann kann auch der Garten das Umfeld erweitern , dort die lange Tafel gedeckt werden und dem Grillabend steht nichts im Wege.
