Our holiday flat is quietly and separately located in the outbuilding, which, like the main house, was built in 2014 with unique charm in a Belgian country house style.
You enter the holiday home via a double-wing door, which is modelled on a barn door, and reach the small hallway. On the ground floor, next to the hallway, you will find the bedroom with adjoining en suite bathroom and a small storage room. A small staircase leads from the hallway to the upper floor, which has been extended up to the ridge. An open kitchen with a counter for a quick breakfast, an elegant dining area and the cosy living area invite you to a homely stay. You will see: You are hardly there and feel right at home. And for the sunny days, of course, a small terrace invites you for a chilled glass of wine.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located in Stadlohn in the Münsteland on the edge of a new development area and therefore offers a wide view over fields and meadows. But also the city centre of Stadtlohn with its diverse restaurants, pubs and bars is within walking distance in approx. 900 metres. This means that you can also bring your shopping from your shopping trip in the shops of Stadtlohn home on foot.
The lovely town of Stadtlohn is very close to the Dutch border. The landscape on both sides of the border is similar, but the way of life and the townscape are very different. So a detour across the border is also always an exciting holiday on holiday.
Whether it's a stroll through the city centre, a trip to the Railway and Sika Museum, a visit to the pottery, a historical night watchman's tour or a detour to the airfield in Wenningfeld. The "Hotel zur Waldesecke" and the "Landgasthof Eichenhof" are popular with cyclists. The Losbergpark with its many leisure facilities is always worth a visit. In addition to the tennis courts and the trial area, there are also skating facilities, a mini-golf course, bird aviaries and a large children's playground.
Visitors to Stadtlohn can enjoy wonderful circular walks and cycling routes. A trip across the border, a cycle tour to Ahaus or along the Berkel river as well as a visit to the Zwillbrocker Venn nature reserve offer enough possibilities for a stay of several days.

The 100 Castles Route the queen among German cycle routes! The 100 Castles Route runs for around 960 km through the Münsterland region. It connects more than 100 palaces, castles, manor houses and farmsteads in the region.
Away from the busy roads, the 100 Castles Route leads through the green park landscape of the Münsterland. Meadows, pastures and hedgerows dominate this rather flat landscape. In the middle of it all lie the true treasures of the Münsterland: Palaces and castles with their imposing palace gardens and parks bear witness to former stately times.
A cycle tour on the 100 Castles Route is always a journey through history and architectural culture in Münsterland. Every era has left its mark here.

Feel like home
Very nice well equipped vacation house. Friendly owners welcoming you wormly and ready to support if anything is needed. I really appreciated my stay at this accommodation. If i return to this area again i will definitely choose to stay at the same house.

Excellent accommodation
We used the flat for a short holiday and can highly recommend it. The flat is super equipped and beautifully located on the outskirts of Stadtlohn.

Relaxing days in the Münsterland
A long, very relaxing weekend in a beautiful holiday home. The attic in the outbuilding is cosy and warmly furnished - nothing is missing to make you feel completely at home.
The holiday home is located in a quiet residential area; you can easily reach the pretty town centre on foot. The surrounding area also has a lot of interesting things to offer.
We received a very warm welcome from our hosts.
We will certainly come back.
