Description
The ground-floor apartment is the smaller part of a semi-detached house. It is hidden behind trees and an earth wall on a small part of a 4000 sqm plot. In addition a stone wall and a fence create the necessary privacy between the owner and guests. The apartment has its own entrance, a guest parking lot and a small garden in front of the covered terrace.
The appartment has 40 sqm and is subdivided in living / dining room, kitchen, bedroom with double bed and bathroom with shower. So it is ideal for up to two people. The couch in the living room offers a sleeping facility for a child. There is a satellite TV and cost-free wireless internet access.
The apartment is adjacent to a back garden of nearly 3000 sqm - belonging formerly to a manor - with grassland and fields leading to the bodden - the sea area between mainland and the Darss peninsula. There is a direct access via a garden gate.
A prior registration for a dog is necessary, This will increase the costs for the final cleaning by euros. The dog has to be leashed within the back garden area.

Location and surroundings of object
The apartment is located between the Darss-Zingst peninsula and the island Rügen. The Bodden - the sea between the mainland and Darß peninsula - is about 2 km away,. This part of the Bodden is popular among surfers and paddlers. There are small sandy creeks, which offer secure bathing for small children. Along the Bodden there are bikeways / hiking trails to Barth, Barhöft and Stralsund. So bikes - either brought along or rented - it is recommended. The apartment is directly located in the crane area. In spring and autumn the cranes are resting here for several weeks. So you will have to "bear" the crane calls in the morning and in the evening, when the fly above the house and the garden. At the end of our village there is also a newly constructed crane observation station.
A car is recommended because of the sub-optimal public transport system.

The apartment is barrier-free. This means (see pictures): The pathway to the apartment has no steps. The apartment is on the ground floor and has only two sliding doors to the bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen is open to the corridor. The shower tray is at ground level. The terrace is accessible via a sliding door.
Due to the german legal regulations, the apartment is not suitable for handicapped persons using wheelchairs, as the dimension of the inner doors, rooms and the shower are to small.

Short vacation in April 2024.
It was a beautiful short break that we spent in the holiday apartment "Kranichgucker". We were very friendly welcomed by the host. The apartment had everything you needed for a stay, the kitchen was well equipped and practical so that you can easily cater for yourself in the evenings. You hardly notice the passing road through Günz, as the house is slightly set back and surrounded by tall trees. We have known the area for a long time and it is always fun to explore the nature and lagoon landscape by bike. You can easily leave the car behind as it is not far to the Baltic Sea coastal cycle path, from which you can reach various day trip destinations. A beautiful area for those seeking peace and nature observation, hopefully it will remain this way in the region for a long time.

Holiday apartment Mrs. Ebeling
We mainly came here for crane watching.
We got our money's worth.
Quiet, clean, well-equipped holiday apartment.
Mrs. Ebeling was always friendly and helpful as a landlord.
We also liked the location because we were out and about a lot with e-bikes.
Good places to visit are Stralsund, Bahrt, and the island of Zingst by bicycle.
We would come back anytime.

Thank you for the wonderful vacation.
Beautiful, clean and spacious apartment, nice and helpful landlady.
The apartment is very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle, just right for people who want to escape everyday stress.
I was there with my 11-year-old daughter, we had very changeable weather but experienced a lot. There is a lot to experience and everything can be reached by car or bike. Stralsund and Rügen are also easy and convenient to reach.

Super flat for little money!
Dear Mrs Eberling,
we stayed in your great holiday flat until Monday and felt very comfortable. We would have liked to stay longer, but unfortunately every nice holiday has an end!
Your flat really had almost everything you could wish for. Your huge garden is just wonderful and your apples were simply delicious. Thank you so much for letting me pick a few
Your holiday flat leaves almost nothing to be desired. We awarded all the points, even if we personally missed a small window curtain in the bedroom and living room and in the kitchen. But everyone feels that differently. That's why we gave it full marks. And it would be very nice if there was a basket in the great shower to put down your shower gel and shampoo. But that's just a small thing for which we don't deduct any points. For me, the blinds in front of the windows were important and ideal, as I can only sleep in the dark. That's why this flat had everything that was important for us. And there was a very large TV, which you don't often find. The kitchen had almost everything you need.
And it is always a pity to see how some holiday guests treat the furniture and take one or two small items "by mistake". Because subsequent guests then miss these things. And if you accidentally pack something or something gets broken, you can always send it back by post, replace it or at least tell the landlords that something is missing or defective. Because you rarely get to rent a flat like this near Stralsund. Especially not with such great furnishings and for this amount

Quietly situated holiday flat
The flat is very nicely furnished and clean. We felt very comfortable and had very good contact with the landlady. If something was missing in the furnishings, it was taken care of immediately. The quiet location and the warm temperatures (weather only sunshine) were very pleasant for us. However, we were not able to do much touring with the e-bikes we had brought with us, as the cycle paths are not very well developed and we had to ride on the main road. The area is very beautiful and the excursion destinations such as Stralsund and the island of Rügen are not far away and easy to reach by car. We can recommend the flat and will definitely come back again.

Relaxing autumn days
Modern holiday flat in the admittedly nowhere..., but pure nature. You wake up in the morning with crane calls. Then extended walks along the Bodden or a half-hour drive and you are in the hustle and bustle of the seaside resorts on the Darß or in Stralsund.
Just perfect for relaxing.
The flat is well equipped with everything you need.
Pots, cutlery, glasses and crockery are all available.
Refrigerator, cooker etc. anyway.
Wifi works perfectly.
We were missing a radio, but that's complaining on a high level and a matter of opinion....

Toller Ort für eine Alltags-Auszeit
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und es zu schätzen gewusst, die ortskundige und sehr sympathische Vermieterin direkt in der Nähe zu haben. Ostsee, Bodden, Stralsund und Rügen gut mit Auto oder auch dem Rad erreichbar, schwimmen im hauseigenen Pool sehr angenehm. Wir haben nichts vermisst.

Iris und Peter in Altenpleen
Wir waren das erste mal an Bodden und Ostsee nähe Stralsund unterwegs und waren begeistert von der Natur und vielfältigen Erlebnismöglichkeiten. Zentraler Mittelpunkt für unsere täglichen Ausflüge mit Auto und den Fahrrädern war das tolle und voll ausgestattete Appartement mit sehr bequemen Betten, riesigem Fernseher, WLAN, Küche mit Herd und Backofen, großem Kühlschrank, Spülmaschine, Bad mit Dusche, WC und Waschmaschine, Terasse vor dem Haus, riesigem Garten mit Faßsauna und beheiztem Swimmingpool zum Mitbenutzen hinter dem Haus. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich, kommunikativ und hilfsbereit. Da wir täglich unterwegs waren um Natur, Strände und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu entdecken und zu genießen, hat es uns nicht gestört, für unsere Einkäufe einige Kilometet fahren zu müssen. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Urlaub im Ferienhaus
Wer die Ruhe sucht, wie wir 2 Pensionäre und die Umgebung erkunden will, ist in diesem Ferienhaus Gold richtig. Sehr gut eingerichtet mit allem was man benötigt, sogar der Pool ist überdacht . Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Grundstück ist ruhig gelegen und sehr gepflegt. Dieses Ferienhaus ist absolut empfehlenswert. Danke für den schönen Urlaub.

Schöner Urlaub
Immer wieder gerne bei Frau Ebeling. Ob kurze Auszeit oder länger. Man fühlt sich sehr aufgehoben. Das Objekt ist für Individualurlaub genau das Richtige. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. PKW ist allerdings erforderlich. Viele schöne Ausflugsziele sind in wenigen Kilometern erreichbar. Und wer keinen Trubel sucht findet in der Umgebung viele kleine Häfen in idyllischer Natur mit Gastronomie mit erschwinglichen Preisen. Wir kommen sehr gerne immer wieder zu unserer liebevollen Gastgeberin Edith. Ganz liebe Grüße von den Tauchaern. Maik und Anett??

Sehr gute Lage,saubere gut ausgestattete FEWO, toller Pool !
Wir, 2 Personen, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten erholsame 14 Tage in dieser schönen FEWO verbracht. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Der Pool ist einzigartig und wurde von uns sehr oft genutzt. Die Lage ist sehr gut um in kurzer Zeit nach Stralsund zu fahren und auf Rügen. Auch Zingst/Darß ist nicht weit entfernt,wie auch die Ostseestrände Prerow, Ahrenshoop und Wustrow. Somit hatten wir einiges im näheren Umfeld gesehen und erkundet. Überall gibt es schöne Fahrradwege. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und wir fühlten uns sehr Willkommen! Wir wünschen Ihnen weiterhin viele nette Gäste und alles Liebe! Es war sehr schön, und ist ganz bestimmt weiter zu empfehlen!

Perfekt für Ausflügler
Ein Urlaub, den wir immer wieder gerne nochmal machen würden.
Die Begrüßung, sowie die Kontakte in den restlichen 2 Wochen, die wir in der Ferienunterkunft verbracht haben, waren sehr herzlich, aufgeschlossen und hilfsbereit.
In dem Ferienhaus war alles da, was man brauchte. Eine schöne, geräumige Unterkunft mit einer sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche, sowie großem Kleiderschrank im Schlafzimmer und einer Waschmaschine im Badezimmer. Die lauen Abendstunden konnte man wunderbar auf der Terrasse verbringen.
Wir sind in den 2 Wochen sehr viel Fahrrad gefahren, was sich bei der Umgebung auch angeboten hat. Barth und Stralsund sind sehr gut über die angrenzenden Fahrradwege erreichbar. Und man ist mitten in der Natur.
Zusammenfassend war dies ein schöner, entspannter Urlaub, den wir jederzeit nochmals buchen würden.

Schön, sauber, tolle Lage und sehr nette Vermieter
Waren rundum gut versorgt. Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und noch ein wenig mehr. Wurden sehr nett empfangen und haben alles wie vereinbart vorgefunden. Lage ist super. Man ist sehr schnell an der Ostsee. Wir haben einen Ausflug nach Barth gemacht und sind von dort mit der Fähre nach Zingst. Dann waren wir in Stralsund, sehr schöne Stadt und das Ozeaneum mit der Gorch Fock I davor ist auch toll. Genauso schnell ist man aber auch auf Rügen. Echt super Lage, tolle Wohnung, sehr nette Vermieter. Kommen gerne wieder.

Baltic Sea holiday for two
If you are looking for a holiday flat, for example to spend your first holiday together, this is definitely the right place.
The apartment is furnished with everything you need for a few nice days and is very well maintained
The landlords were very friendly and helpful - when we had problems with our car, they kindly offered to help

Quiet and yet right in the middle
We were very satisfied with the flat and the hosts are very nice. The equipment is more than sufficient, we lacked nothing
The location is quiet and after the hustle and bustle in the tourist areas, relaxing is no problem.
My daughter really enjoyed using the pool after the excursions, even though she frolicked on the beach all day.
Stralsund and the Darß can be reached in a few minutes. We never had any problems with traffic jams.
I can recommend the holiday accommodation with a clear conscience.

Beautiful holiday flat
We had a very pleasant stay in the flat. Everything you need is there and it is clean. The landlords take great care of the well-being of the tenants. The pool and the barrel sauna are nice and good to use. The flat is a bit remote, but with a car or bicycle it is no problem. To swim in the Baltic Sea, however, you have to drive a bit further, e.g. to Zingst or Rügen, both about 30 km.

Top Unterkunft
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und versuchen bestimmt mal wieder da Ferien zu machen. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht und ist auch alles sehr gut gepflegt.Schöne ruhige Lage. Familie Ebeling sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool einladend und sehr schön um ein paar Bahnen zu schwimmen. Trotz des Regens haben wir viel unternommen und sehr viel gesehen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können die Ferienwohnung besten Gewissens weiter empfehlen.

Schöner entspannter Ostsee Urlaub
Unser Aufenthalt in der Kranichgucker Ferienwohnung war sehr angenehm.
Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man für ein paar Tage Urlaub gebrauchen kann.
Da wir tagsüber sehr viel unternommen haben, versäumten wir Highlights wie die Fass-Sauna oder den Pool im Garten zu benutzen.
Rein optisch sahen diese jedoch sehr einladend aus.
Auch die Vermieterin und Ihr Ehemann haben uns herzlich empfangen und waren sehr hilfsbereit.
Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können die Ferienwohnung besten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
